Oooh having tomorrow off would be great! Thursdays are my long haul days... a normal full work day starting at eight then Japanese tutoring followed by my hula lessons! I'd split them up for sanity's sake but they are both in the same area and a good 30 minute drive from my house so it just doesn't make sense gas wise...

I bet your Easter planning will be well worth it!

Alison sending good wishes and prayers for Fran's surgery tomorrow. To me it is a good sign that they are getting to the bottom of this. If the infection has sat waiting to re-occure in her leg getting all thoses bugs out should really remove the problem along with antibiotics and your super care.

and prayers that your May WDW trip happens and is better than ever. Are you still planning on your Vegas trip or has that already gone by? Take care my friend, I am concerned about you and your health too!

I hope that this is the last we have to deal with this issue! Don't worry about me, after I drop her off at the hospital, I have found a sushi bar down the street with a pretty good yelp rating and a Day Spa a couple blocks away where I'm getting a 90 minute massage. I'll be done within her three hour minimum surgery/recovery time and just be ready and waiting to get her home.

Oh and we're supposed to leave for Vegas in a week. If it were for pleasure, I would postpone it, but we have an important business meeting so I'm really torn. We'll see how she does after the weekend. We aren't paying for any of it, so there is no penalty for us in cancellation.

I am sorry that Fran has to go through this, but hopefully it will sort this out once and for all. I keep my fingers crossed that all goes well, that she heals quickly and that you can enjoy your vacation.

Oh my, I'm sorry. How's Fran handling all this? I hope surgery goes perfectly.

Fran is so whacked up on morphine she can't even stay awake long enough to eat a sandwich. She kept falling asleep mid chew. I have swapped out our dinner plans, instead of Shrimp Gumbo Casserole. I'm going to pick up a couple veggies at the market in a couple minutes and make me something quick and simple. She will be having spaghettios!

This is the first year in a long time that I don't have a Spring Break. My daughter is too young to be in school and I graduated with my 2nd degree in December. My husband is still in college, but he took a half semester class this semester so he's done until the summer term.

I'm so glad that neither my husband and I have to work today!

Good morning all!

Wish us luck that our WDW vacation happens. Seems the infection last Fall never really healed, the skin just closed up over it. Tomorrow Fran goes in for surgery to hopefully remove the remainder of the infection. They got her in right away to give her maximum healing time before our trip.

She had some of it cleaned yesterday, but this will be an intensive cleaning under anesthesia, so we're not out of the woods yet.

Prayers that all goes well for you and Fran!

Good Morning Friends,

Wishing everyone a wonderful Easter weekend and for those who are on Spring Break a restful and fun week. When I was growing up all the schools were closed from today through next week, just like Elin's spring break. Now, they break at all different times, before Easter to a week or two after. It is difficult to keep tack of it all. One good point is WDW and Disneyland don't get quite as crowded since spring break is scattered now.

Alison I am glad to hear you have something restful and enjoyable planned for yourself while Fran is in surgery. You both will be in my thought today.

Brandi I must be behind on news. Where are you headed in 13 days for vacation? I hope the one of the medications the doctor gave you is helping.

I have to run and get to the store for my last few items. Was going to do a Costco run today, but deceided that was not a great idea today. so what I need can wait until next week.
