.

That is a sight for sore eyes! Thank you :)

We're home and have been for a few hours. She actually has a good appetite, finished off an apple fritter as soon as she got home, ate a modest portion of orange chicken and rice, and we had strawberries and vanilla ice cream for desert.

Excellent news. How is she feeling this morning?

Pam heading over to catch up on your cruise report. You are making me start to review the idea of a Disney cruise soon. Wonder if I can talk my hubby into it?

Ann

It was so fabulous I cant say enough good things. The Disney excellence and attention to detail were superb. Ill try to convince everybody by the end if my TR :)

In the meantime, we've both decideed to go back to school....College at 40, not as easy as college at 18:laughing:

Scott has already started...He's taking online classes in Finance, to hopefully become a CPA....Home Dept is doing tuition reimbursement:thumbsup2

I'm waiting to hear back from Oregon State University, about their online classes, want to get my Associate's in Anthropology....I've got to get a grant or financial aid, otherwise I cant do it.

Hope you've all been well:grouphug: See you all as soon as I can!

Good Afternoon everyone....

Alison, glad to hear Fran is doing good. Hugs my dear friend.

Pam, the TR is going great...

Jen, hi there :wave2:, glad to hear you both are doing well and that you are looking into school, I have been threatening to return to get my Master but I really can't get started. Keep us posted!

Happy Passover to all my friends who celebrate!

Now running out to do errands!

Excellent news. How is she feeling this morning?

She had to switch from the bed to her recliner about 5AM, since then she has been sleeping from the pain meds, but she has eaten a grilled cheese sandwich and some cottage cheese with pineapple. The pain meds are not making her too nauseas to keep anything down so that's good.

Thanks! Have a wonderful day! My cleaning lady is here, and she's more of a friend that I pay to do whatever I need help with. She is helping me with all the chores that I have neglected over the past couple days. We're also waiting on various nurses to come by for her wound care.

Hey there...coming up on our first stay at Jambo.....we usually stay at bay lake and love renting cabana's at the pool. Do any of the pools at AKV have cabana's? TIA!

Alison - Hope Fran continues to improve. :goodvibes

Jen - Really miss you around here. Your trip plans sound great. :thumbsup2

Hi! Just wanted to say your vacation plans sound lovely. What is the cheese and wine sampling like? How soon do you need to book?

Also, are you from Oregon? I have my degree in anthro from Wazzu. :)

Jenny

I'm not positive, but I haven't heard of night vision goggles at Kidani.

I didn't think so. I'm following a TR who's staying at Kidani and she was wondering so I figured I'd ask the experts :)

Congratulations on your first stay :cool1:

Unfortunately I don't think they have cabanas, but with all the shade from the jungle like foliage you might not need one. And there's tons and tons of lounge chairs so you never have to fight for one.

Hi Jen :) Glad you stopped in. The boards have been slow lately I agree.

I'm so glad you were able to book this upcoming trip, it will be nice for you guys to get some R&R. I discovered something this last trip, with the annual pass I didn't feel like I 'had' to go in the parks. We were able to leave and enjoy the pool with no bad feelings. Whenever I pay for a specific amount of days I feel the pressure of getting the most out of the tickets. What I mean to say is that I think it will be really nice for you guys to just relax and enjoy.

Did you see that new Three Musketeers with Orlando? There was no doubt he was gorgeous in his usual way, but he was so bad! I like the good Orlando :)

Oh, I remember them from your TR. They live in GG.

They are in Seal Beach. It was the photographer who was from Garden Grove

I am sure you would not regret it. DH was extremely reluctant at first and he loves it now.

Good to see you around and well done on exploring going back to school.

Does Kidani also have the night vision goggles or is it just Jambo House?

We used the night goggles at Kidani last June. There were only two pair and everyone had to wait a while to use them. According to the CM who was out there helping everyone that evening, the ones at Jambo are much better. As many times as we have been to Jambo we have never used the night goggles there so I can't comment on which were better but they do have them at Kidani or at least did last June.
