Good morning all!

Wish us luck that our WDW vacation happens. Seems the infection last Fall never really healed, the skin just closed up over it. Tomorrow Fran goes in for surgery to hopefully remove the remainder of the infection. They got her in right away to give her maximum healing time before our trip.

She had some of it cleaned yesterday, but this will be an intensive cleaning under anesthesia, so we're not out of the woods yet.

Right now I would go for anything that stopped the post nasal drip! That is the root of it all.

Have you, by any chance, been taking Tylenol for your symptoms? I ask because I was taking that along with my pain medications after my hand surgery and I had a terrible post nasal drip. I asked my DH to go to the pharmacy to get a generic acetaminophen without the red dye and other stuff and my head cleared up. I suspect I'm allergic to the dye or something. In any case, I hope that you are finally feeling better.

Good Evening Everyone! Geez getting on the DIS has been one pain in neck the last two days. I tried to get on last night for over an hour while watching TV. Never made it past my spinning circle going around??? Is someone working on it or what???

I had a long post all quoted and everything ready to go a few minutes ago and it just vanished.

Hope this finds everyone doing great and feeling better today.

Wendy, my sweet friend Congratulations on your new beautiful granddaughter. You must be flying high on cloud nine right now. I love the picture of your son holding her....so so sweet! You are certainly blessed to have two healthy new additions to your family in two months.

Laura thank you ever so much for all the information and pictures about Epcot's 25 anniversary. I love the Figment stuffy. I will be using all the tips and points I can get for this special day. The pin you got is great, I hope to find some as nice. I plan DH and I going to different stores that morning. The problem with him is he either will buy everything he sees or be totally turned off the idea because of crowds. He loves to shop, but usually stays outside people watching if it is crowded while I go inside. I will have to work on him in advance.
I am taking notes of everything you have said Laura to review on September 30th while relaxing at AKL CL.

Brandi, How are you feeling? I hope you are doing better and better each day. If I remember correctly you see the doctor tomorrow. Sending wishes for health, a clear head and no discomfort or pain.

Alison, How are things going for you and Fran? Is she resting and healing? How are you feeling? You are getting closer to your WDW spring trip! I am sending good thoughts, prayers and wishes that all three of you are feeling great and are able to really enjoy your vacation.

Elin, Glad to hear that you, Bob and Wendy are doing well. Do you have any little trips planned before fall? I remember the one you took to the beach not too far from where you live, I believe it was last fall. You had a wonderful location with waterfront room and beautiful weather while you were there. Short trips are always big boost to my brain and spirit. It is so nice to get away even for a couple of days.

Someday we will move closer to our kids and be able to visit family and friends out east. But then we will be away from all our friends and DH twin brother who is out here. Too bad we are not rich and could just fly where ever whenever we want. I really miss my daughters and son-in-laws and grandchildren this Easter. We are young grandparents and it is so much fun to be around them because we can go and do so much with them. They think Papa and Nana are SO cool right now! Not sure how old they will be before all adults are boring. Of course if I keep them loving Disney and taking them on trips maybe that won't happen??? One can hope!!!

Hi! I'm new to this thread Waaaay back when we were at WDW for our honeymoon, DH and I decided we wanted to stay at AKL for our next trip.

I got pregnant 4 months after we got back from our honeymoon, and I've been dreaming about taking my daughter to WDW since she was born. She loves animals, so AKL is going to be perfect for our 2013 trip!

Good afternoon Ann,

Just back from the Dr. He ran tests, took blood and ran more test. I do not have an infection. I have crud!

So my allergies are out of wack, so he has given me a few sample tings to try and something to keep me from coughing.

So maybe I will get some sleep and then I will feel better and better able to deal with all the crud.

I think I am staying home again tomorrow.

The DIS has been acting up for me also.

As far as Grandkids go, I just keep spoiling mine and hope they never out grow me!!!!

I have been on a generic acetaminophen, but thanks for thinking about me. The way the ENT described it, is I am suffering from an allergic reaction to changes int he weather. I must have looked at him like I was silly in the head, because he tried to explain it more...

Alison sending good wishes and prayers for Fran's surgery tomorrow. To me it is a good sign that they are getting to the bottom of this. If the infection has sat waiting to re-occure in her leg getting all thoses bugs out should really remove the problem along with antibiotics and your super care.

and prayers that your May WDW trip happens and is better than ever. Are you still planning on your Vegas trip or has that already gone by? Take care my friend, I am concerned about you and your health too!

I am sorry that Fran has to go through this, but hopefully it will sort this out once and for all. I keep my fingers crossed that all goes well, that she heals quickly and that you can enjoy your vacation.

They really have not sold. A few cruises may have done, but the one we were on it felt like we were on a ghost ship at times. I think what they are going for the foreseeable future is to spend fall, winter and most of spring in Miami then bring the Wonder west for the Alaskan season with maybe the odd Hawaiian cruise thrown in.

You're right. I looked again last night and I guess when I was looking for earlier this year is when they were selling, but the ones they have coming up still have a lot available.

I have subscribed and will get reading when I am home tonight.
