Well said Dr. , it is all of the above. sadly there are some that can't consider anything a E ticket unless its a thrill coaster. There are others that have been trying to tear this attraction apart since it was announced and now that it's is so near and the video and other reports show it to be a E ticket they are unhappy and now are trying to say its short.
They are entitled to their opinions.
I am hoping that all the work, Imagineering and innovation that has gone into this attraction is a sign that Iger and his bean counters have woken up and we can expect the same perfection on the many attractions coming along...

~Hey there Tonka! As usual, you are spot on here! You know I have always been skeptical about Disney's intentions -- but the mine train is looking better and better.
~Another poster made the comment that the mine train was lipstick on a pig and I don't agree with this. I can see that with the mermaid ride -- it has a castle, huge waterfalls, a massive interactive queue and princess meet and greet.
~But, the presence of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train speaks for itself. I love a good coaster and I love the idea of not being entirely enclosed in a damp building and having 25 glaring 3D screens shoved in my face.
~I also appreciate that with the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train that there will also be a dark ride aspect. It's really the best of both worlds for me. And, I think it's a world class attraction!
~Also, I just read that the soft opening it March 18th! Can't wait!
Comparing Mansion to Dwarf Hill is pretty out there, and proof you aren't looking for an honest debate.

~I won't deny that you're extremely knowledgeable about coasters and all of the park attractions. However, you do exhibit a certain bias, that's geared specifically toward the "theme." If the mine train was named Haunted Hill and filled with ghosts and mummy's -- I think your opinion would different.
Great article! i can't wait to see this!!!!!
~Me, too!
Anna and Elsa have surpassed $1 billion in movie ticket sales alone, not to mention $10's of million in sales of the soundtrack plus merchandise selling as fast as they make it.
~Yes! You are absolutely correct -- the only reason I didn't include Frozen is because it's so new and still running in the theaters. But, you're right that once you factor in Elsa and Anna -- Snow White is second.
But it has a waterfall! Gringotts doesn't.
-Jason
~LOL. And, grass, flowers, songs, and those diamonds!
I disagree, many have been saying on various threads, including this one has in so many words or out right, if its not a huge thrill ride its not a true E ticket.
HP has been every well done up tp now...I expect it will continue .............Gringotts sounds just like the next Thrill ride. (however I would point out a fire breathing dragon has been done before, as had live action, (Great movie ride) and train is not a train but a trolley on a road bed with video screens in the windows.) I don't see where there is completion, there are very different approaches taken, to each story line. Each approach is suitable to its story line. Ginsgotts is a E ticket and the Mine Train will be in its own rights.
Both have much the same things in there own way. What you feel is what makes Grinotts better is just the *THRILL* or *WOW*part.
The Mine train is a E ticket. It is a prime , state of the art attraction. The theming is amazing, the swinging cars are innovative. The whole design and engineering is E Ticket.
We can agree to disagree............and that fine!

~Very well said, Tonka. I couldn't believe the high level of detailed craftsmanship that went into the cars alone. It looks amazing and that amazing waterfall and rock work looks like it has been there for ages.
Oh goodness...I sure hope the animatronics are better than Voyage of the Little Mermaid!! What a let down! We experienced it for the first time this past September, and we were very much underwhelmed to say the least. It's such a shame too, because the outside of the ride and the queue are absolutely gorgeous. And we have a 4 year old princess who is a huge Ariel fan! But the ride itself was *such* a letdown; we thought the animatronics were pretty awful TBH. Even my 4yo DD was like, "That was OK, Mommy. Let's go to the Spooky House (HM) again."
So I can definitely see where the lipstick on a pig comparison could potentially come into play. I'm going into our Sept trip with an open mind as far as 7DMT is concerned. If it underwhelms, however, it'll end up on the "skip/do only if SB is super short" list along with Voyage of the Little Mermaid.
~LOL. That's so funny. Your DD sounds so adorable -- I can't believe she's only four and likes the "Spooky House." I'm terrified of the Spooky House.
~I love the The Little Mermaid and I also had mixed feelings about the ride. It's a nice mildly amusing attraction but I couldn't get pass the clammobiles. They're the exact same cars from the Nemo ride. I'm over it now, but I just thought that was so lazy and cheap of Disney. It's not a complex ride to begin with -- so, at least create some distinctive cars for TLM -- maybe Conch Shells or Star Fish or even Forks -- just something different. I'm so glad that you're going in with an open mind! You might be surprised!
They need to do several more rides like this throughout all the parks and not take years to do it. Epcot, the Studios, and Animal Kingdom need more attractions!!!! Forget the bands create more rides.
~I totally agree with this!
I just wish they could have done something here WDW like they did with Mystic Manor -
http://youtu.be/vwM2d4Wug4A
now that's an awesome dark ride.
I bet it would give the new Harry Potter stuff a run for it's money! (at least put WDW in the same ball park)
~I am going to watch this video later. Thanks!
