My camper is coming home today! Should be home around 2'ish.

Julian is doing good. Still won't drink much, but he is eating mashed potatoes and jello, so that is good.

I've been wondering about Karen and Michele, too. YaYas - are you ok??

Stupid weather up here yesterday I don't hink it even got up to 25º, today it's supposed to be 40º and then drop back down into the 20ºs. DS goes Winter Camping with the Boy Scouts over the weekend - Friday nights low temp is supposed to be 13º, Saturday's only 7º. He's all excited - he loves to camp in the cold.

Which of your boys found the pickle on the tree? Can you believe that I hid ours so well that no one ever found it - and I forgot where I put it! I just found it yesterday when I was taking the tree down. I had that baby well concealed!!

Pam, I am continually amazed by the kids who actually enjoy camping in such cold weather! When my DS was a Boy Scout, he loved it too! Personally, I had trouble using the latrine first thing in the morning--between the cold breezes and the cold seat.....Iii-Yiii-Yiii!!! Sorry your morning is stinky, BTW.

Jodie, what is the reasoning behind no straws for Julian? Is it for fear of it scratching open the wound or is the suction bad for the raw throat? Sorry to hear about your "encounter" with the bracelet salesman. Mindless is an excellent description! Some people just have no idea how simple words can hurt.

I can't wait to see Jay doing the hula! We must make sure he leaves his light saber at home, though, wouldn't want him igniting his grass skirt!

I dunno..... Me + skirt (grass or otherwise) = scary. That's a sight even *I* don't want to imagine!!
