I'm guessing it's likely that most of those on this thread not bothered by the change are people with kids/teens. As adults without children, my husband and I are not happy about this. It isn't just the idea of teens in the very near distance of what is supposed to be pure serenity for adults. The likelihood of sharing the tram to "Serenity," sharing the restrooms and the BBQ area degrades an otherwise magical escape. The "family" areas on the ship and the island are huge. This probable infringement into the one adult area of the island is yet another way to say to child-free adults, "We don't want you or your money." However, if there are enough complaints,
DCL could decide to build many more adult cabanas and market them as the place to find the serenity that used to be free at Serenity Beach, and probably at increased cabana fees. Peace and quiet could end up having its own price tag. Not to worry too much though until we see exactly how this plays out.
