September TR... UPDATED on July 11th, 2009--FINAL DAY POSTED.

I have the same hair issues although mine is quite short now. In FL my hair is a disaster. It just knots all up and I can't put my fingers through it at all let alone a brush.

I actually find it easier to just keep it a little damp and put lots of conditioner in it if I don't have time to style it correctly. (oh, and the ponytail is my look of choice most days!)

What a great gift! You're really not going to give it back are you? Wouldn't he be crushed? What a sweetie you are to remember all those good details!

That was so great for you to write that:hug: .. i was worried i was a lil-obessed. I really believe the Planning DVD got the Dbf excited, he was commenting like " did we do that? can we do that? we are NOT doing that again!" It felt good to finally have him involved...

Don't you just love getting their reaction to going on the trip. My DH acts the same way, and I absolutely love it!

wow.. i've been glued to the disboard these last couple of days... I def. want to get married at WDW. There are some diser's who had some amazingly beautiful weddings. Pstt....(C'mon Dbf.... pop the question. i'm so tired of waiting... geezz:rotfl: )

anyhooo... as the titled reads "CHANGES" Yes we've made some changes AGAIN. We took a look at the budget, and because i have to save up 4000 from july to sept... my living expense budget is pretty tight..:rotfl: Okay... really tight. Dbf and I just went over the budget... and turns out we have to make some cuts.

So far.... during our discussion i've agreed to cancel the Aqua seas tour... I know I know.. I am so sad. This was the one thing I've been really looking forward too... i still can't bring myself to cancel it. I tried to throw in there that we can do the tour when we get free dining next time (being optimistics) :rolleyes1 and he said a firm NO (he's not a disney lover like me). however... I was thinking and i read somewhere that the blow dryers suck...and there's only one that was working. That is going to be a huge problem...especially with my hair. Well let me explain my dilema with my hair which is CURLY.. an awful CURL... not those pretty, perfect, easy to maintain ringlets.. NOPE no me.. frizzy.. full of knots.. just awful. This means after being in the water during the tour... i would need to blow dry straight and use my straightener... which means i'll have to bring both into the park... and Dbf will have to carry in the backpack. Now, when my hair was longer past my bra strap the curls were so bad i could use a big round brush to deal with my bags and a few pieces underneath my nair and it would look good... but about a month ago i got a haircut (which was suppost to be a trim) and it turned out pretty short barely to my shoulders... so when it's left to be curly its shorter and LOOKS HORRIBLE.After the tour we had planned to tour WS and go for dinner... we have reservations at 640 (not alot of time to enjoy the WS and headhome):sad1:

so at the end of our discussion we decided to cancel the tour. I just got off the phone with my DM (Terry-Lynn) who said to take it because I probably wont be headed to WDW until i have children... hmmmm

Hopefully, you will get proposed too soon, or even at WDW! That would be awesome. At least you have a possible WDW wedding and/or honeymoon to look forward to dreaming about. :cloud9:

I totally understand about cutting costs. We've had to do that on past occasions. Just remember that it will still be an awesome trip, and you will have stuff to look forward to doing on future trips. :thumbsup2

I have hair just like that, so I totally understand. I like to keep mine short, and I have to blow dry and then straighten it right away or :scared1:, you get the idea. In Florida, the weather doesn't always cooperate with my hair, especially if it gets wet. I have found that WDW caps come in very handy. I have saved many bad hair situations with them. Maybe you can try that idea, instead of having to carry a hair dryer and straightener, in case time is short.

Your shopping list looks good. More fun for the trip! :woohoo: By the way, your new hair cut is very nice. Thanks for sharing.

I can't wait to read more. :surfweb: Your countdown is getting shorter and shorter.

Alright.... so we just got back from spending the long weekend with my family:hug: It was a really nice time... we left friday for my maternal grandmothers house and my mom joined us on saturday and she brought some old WDW photos, packages etc for me to have. I took some photos to share with yous. I had to take photos of photos, so bear with me... but do enjoy.

We had a really good time looking at old photos, booklets, brochures.. EVERYTHING. It was great... on the drive home the Dbf told me he was getting excited to go.. ( I knew it:  )

Well.. sadly.. I"m reporting that their will be NO engagement anytime soon let alone at WDW. Hmm.. We have been fighting over this for some time now...recently too and The dbf says he's not ready yet..(:confused3 ) :sad2: :snooty: Whatever. I guess i'm just not the one..

I'm sorry to hear that. Hang in there.

Thanks for sharing the old photos and memories. Mine are all in boxes somewhere. It brought back good memories for me from when I was a kid and went to WDW with my family.

well i've taken out the water park altogether. I couldn't decided between TL and BB, then it was BB, then it was "yes we'll go", then it was a no we'll see how we feel once were there.... BLAHHHH.. so i just said NO, were not going. It saves us some $$$ and to be honest, i wasn't really looking forward to spending a whole day in a bikini.:rotfl2: Not my thing.

this now leaves us with an empty day... hmmm.. I may schedule in Downtown Disney, possibly a massage, sleep in.. just relax and take in the atmosphere :)

I totally undertand. Wow! How exciting to have a day with nothing planned. All of your ideas sound good. Let us know which one you decide to do.

OHhhhYah the hotel price worked out great.... We honestly just called through the Dsiney reservation number on the website and asked for the AAA rate. Good luck, let me know if you find one.

Thanks for the info. I called and asked for the AAA rate and got that same price. I'm so excited to have the hotel taken care of at a good price. Makes that AAA membership worthwhile.

I don't think I would be into a water park much either. My kids really want to go someday.

I'm sure you will find plenty to do. There is a lot at Downtown Disney. Though I usually spend more there than waterpark admission.
I hear there is store full of inexpensive items ($10 and under maybe) but I've always missed that.

Well.. since we cancelled the full day at the waterpark (phew: no bikini for me)... we decided to spend the day sleeping-in, possibly a short visit to a spa, and downtown disney.

Ever since I booked our hotel reservation, at the begining of this pre-tr, i've been calling 407-WDW-DINE to get reservations at the Disney's Spirit of Aloha Show.... I GOT THEM!!:woohoo: I am so excited.

So the plan is a relaxing day full of sleep, downtown disney shopping, earl's sandwiches and now our dinner show.

Now i've been reading different reviews for the show and they are HOT/COLD...
All you lurkers out there: if you have been to this show, please leave a comment. I"d like to know if this show is worth it or not? Did you enjoy it? worth the money?

Your plans sound great! We have gone to the Spirit of Aloha more than once. Did you get in a good seating area? We love the show. The food is good, and the atmosphere and show are so, so, so good. It's such a different sort of experience, and I definitely think you will like it. You made a good choice. :thumbsup2

I haven't been to the Spirit of Aloha but the whole day you have planned sounds like fun!

May I also suggest a "drink" around the monorail (since you'll have to end up at the Poly anyway) resorts 'tour' for you. It's a good way to see the hotels and have a few beverages before your dinner show!

I like the old map of WDW you posted. There's no BW hotel! I remember seeing them building that when I stayed at the BC one year. Funny to look back! Great pics!

I've slowly been purchasing things here and there, that are on sale for our trip. Like some shorts, some tops, working on a bikini...etc, I wanted to wear something nice, and summery (if thats even a word) for our spirit of Aloha show and i've purchased a dress. It's an off white summer dress, nothing fancy at all. The only thing i'm going to get is some bracelet's to match... I'll take a picture of the dress to share with all of you.

I am so excited for our trip.. its eating me alive.:woohoo: Nothing is distracting me from disney, not work, not my diet, not the household chores........ not EVEN Michael Phelps :rotfl: (Dbf, if your reading this i threw him in just to take a jab at you:rotfl2: ) Although the months have been passing pretty fast..I'm going to post my final Itenerary, and once thats posted i refuse to change it anymore. It's strange how you can second guess yourself, stay up worrying about all the planning.

Dbf is getting excited...which makes me :lovestruc and he has offered to plan out our days (minute by minute) :rotfl2: I'm happy he's finally getting involved.

I came home yesterday to find a WDW package in the mail  (how exciting is it to receive mail, other than bills, and on top of that from WDW) Well it was our Magical Express lug. and tick. Except.. EVERYTHING IS WRONG. The arrival date, the names, the non-departure date (as much as i'd like to NEVER leave)....but to be honest, i'm not even angry. This just means i'll give them a quick call tonight, and i'll be receiving another package in the mail.

On a sad note, i thought the dbf had something special sent to me. Puuff was i ever wrong.:sad2: lol

It def. makes the AAA membership worthwhile... i'm glad you were successfull. I've spent a little bit of time shopping at Downtown Disney last time we were at WDW.... iIm excited to have much more time there this time around ( a whole day )!!

I have no idea if we got good seating, lol just excited to have gotten seats. I think were in Cat. 2? Thanks... I really hope i made a good choice.

I def. keep that idea in mind, it would be a great way to see the other hotels... something we had discussed last time in WDW, but never had the time to do it.

I"m glad you enjoyed the photos.

Here's a picture of the dress.... I absolutely love it.

Beautiful! You should get some sort of floral piece for your hair, too. It is a luau. They give you a lei to wear around your neck when you check in, too. You're going to love it.

well today is my mom's birthday... even though the dbf and I had a family gathering earlier his mom and celebrated her birthday I sent her some beautiful zen flowers today. :flower3: I mean, i def. wouldn't like it if i received nothing on my birthday.... :woohoo: She was really happy, and seemed surprised!! Here is the pic of the flowers:

Ohhh .... I'm FINALLY buying some CROCS, Just deciding between two pairs of flip flops and will place an order tomorrow during my lunch. I'll post a picture of the ones i ordered when i get home.

I recently purchased an old Sing-along DVD from my past, Disneyland Fun. I loved this movie growing up as a kid.. it was good to see it again.
