So we will be in the parks 9/10-9/15. I know Pixar fest ends 9/3. I assume the week we are there will be a transition week getting ready for Halloween Time.

1. Any guesses as to what the official start date of Halloween Time will be?
2. Do you still think paint the night will be going? Pixar fireworks?
3. Does Haunted Mansion remain closed until the official start date?
4. How soon do decorations show up? Halloween merchandise and food?

I'm just hoping we will get to see most/all of the offerings! Thanks in advance for your expert opinions!!

1. Any guesses as to what the official start date of Halloween Time will be?
I would guess HalloweenTime is likely to start somewhere between September 7 and 14 (it started on the 15th last year and on the 9th in 2016, so either date seems plausible).

2. Do you still think paint the night will be going? Pixar fireworks?
At this point, I don't think anyone really knows what will be happening with PtN and the Pixar fireworks after Pixar Fest ends. I'm inclined to guess that at a minimum both will drop down to weekends only after Labor Day. My tentative guess is that PtN will remain through HalloweenTime, while the Pixar fireworks might be retired. I would have said the new fireworks will last beyond the festival, but they stopped presenting the 60th Anniversary fireworks after that celebration ended, so I think it's possible that the same thing will happen here.

3. Does Haunted Mansion remain closed until the official start date?
Historically yes, HM will be closed until the start of HalloweenTime. Space Mountain also usually closes for a few days leading up to HalloweenTime to have the Ghost Galaxy overlay installed.

4. How soon do decorations show up? Halloween merchandise and food?
The merchandise will start to show up before HalloweenTime officially starts (sometimes as early as late August). The specialty food items are more likely to debut with HalloweenTime.

Thank you for replying! Just hoping to have Halloween time "officially" started while there.
