OK, so I called to make my reservations and I was told that the majority of pins were only out through June not Oct yet. I mentioned the BSY and she said that only a few got that one but others would come out later. She also said my best bet would be to book the room and keep calling back to see if there are pins? I made my ressie using AAA so I could at least get the 20% off but do you all think I made a mistake booking now? Should I have waited for a pin?

I'm not looking for free dining anymore. We got the 40% code applied w/ the dining.

You got 40% off both the room and the dinning part?

No, we received 40% off of the room only but were able to add the DDP. The total that we saved more than paid for the dining plan. We're staying at Poly now for 6 nights, 3 adults &1 child, 6 day base tickets w/ DDP for $2951.52.

Thanks for the link to the other thread for Magical Beginnings - I was told by a CM yesterday that they did not know yet which days, but the age was 5 years & younger. I HOPE it's correct that the days are Sun, Wed, Fri - that will give us 2 early days here + Thus EMH!! Great for 5 kids under 5 in our magical gathering!

Yeah I tried a few days ago to get the days and the cm did not know. But those days from the other thread were from an email of a cm, so hopefully they are correct. They would make sense to be right and I guess it is something we can plan w/ for now and keep checking Disney's site.

Am I reading this right? Are families with small children allowed into Magic Kingdom early on a DIFFERENT day than EMH?? If so I'm really excited!!, How do I find out which days that would be in Sept? Thanks

Anyone can get it though, not just folks with small children. I read quite a few complaints that it was crowded last year because of this.

Well I don't like that!! I had all these grandiose pictures in my mind of the park being fairly empty with just families with small children playing with the characters. It was my understanding it was for preschoolers and their families and only on rides that preschoolers would ride on.

So is all of MK open for the rides during the EMH that are designated for Little Ones Travel Time?

All I can say is, dont worry, go with an open heart, and no expectations, and the magic will swamp you!! Truly!1

We went with our ten year old, the characters go out of their way to grab the youngest - they dont do autographs, *gasp, they PLAY with the kids!! Peter Pan and Wendy hold hands and play shadow tag, Snow White et el played a game, and then they would ride their rides with some of those youngest - they picked, and their cm handlers were there to help - the older siblings were fine (and like my dd we enjoyed watching the magic happen, watching those darling kids faces light up with joy!!)

The lines were short, it was only fantasyland - oh and Stitch would play and then pick someone every now and again to jump on to join a single rider on Dumbo - it was precious!! Truly!!

That sounds like so much fun. I can't wait to take my 2 y/o this fall.

That's not quite true all the time. The 40% pin code can be used by the recipient for up to three (3) rooms as long as the occupants are traveling with the pin code holder (same check-in and out dates; resorts can differ but pin code recipient must be present when their guests check in).
