September 24 - Flew home from work. Went grocery shopping for the remainder of the month. I shop for one week at a time. So my final grocery budget for September is $501.67 spent of a $500.00 budget. I am pretty happy with that! I am picking up a lot of basics at Aldi's and the difference it has made in my grocery bill is crazy. Their fresh fruits and veggies are great prices and I get a lot of dairy from there. We don't buy much prepared food so I can't comment on those items. My spending did include two very large fresh pumpkins to decorate with. I wasn't going to buy any at all this year, but then I saw Aldis had huge pumpkins for $2.99 each, I bought two.

September 25 - Shopping for odds and ends, nothing that wasn't on my list, but I'm still not going to count it as No Buy. Birthday gifts, pool supplies.
The rest of my week should pretty easily be No Buy.

September 26 - No Buy (17/18) Calling it early. I am staying home and cleaning the kitchen. I have been away from home so much and DH and DD have completely slimed my kitchen. How do they make such a mess?

On Saturday (9/24) I had "brunch" in the condo-pasta with garlic, broccoli and feta. Spent the evening at Hollywood Studios and had a "cheap" beer there. Dinner was very late-a car knocked a huge signpost down across World Drive and traffic was epic. By the time I got home I was too tired to cook or even defrost so ended up with a mish-mash of raw veggies, hummus and feta.

(This was a lot cheesier than it looks!)

A friend drove up from Tampa on Sunday and we went to Epcot. I used my rewards card for beer in Canada and a peanut butter mousse at the Chew F&W kiosk. My friend treated me to lunch at Boulangerie. I had a pissaladiere and another beer :drinking:

No dinner, too full!

Monday was Early Morning Magic at DHS. I had the included breakfast late and made the most (too much really ) of it. Other than some free ginger ale at the Epcot Passholder lounge I didn't have anything else other than an apple once back at the hotel.

(I also had a plate of fruit-mostly berries and melon and a piece of cinnamon puffed french toast!)

Tuesday was EMM at the MK. I repeated the late breakfast with a bit more restraint. I also used my breakfast "pass" on two coffees during the morning. In the evening I spent just under $25 of my rewards card on beer and dinner at Flame Tree BBQ in the Animal Kingdom.

(Again, I also had a plate of fruit as well another round of cheese/charcuterie to go with the croissants. Having learned my lesson yesterday re the mixing of heavy, greasy meats with thrill rides I passed on the french toast, sausage and bacon this time.)

September 28 - No Buy (19/18) Cleaned out the basement today and loaded up the car for Goodwill. I need a gallon of paint from Sherwin Williams and their sale starts tomorrow, so I delayed running to Goodwill until tomorrow as the paint store is right nearby. I ended up with a No Buy day. Not very exciting, but I'm pretty happy with the month.
