I've been using Uber instead of public transit since I can't walk much after my accident, so I won't be able to make my goal this month, but I'm gonna try not to spend much outside of that. I know I don't have to count them, but they're not a normal expense.

It takes 21 days to create a habit. This is the best I've ever done in No Buy. I am hoping that I have managed to create a new habit. I will say this, I'm having an easy time of it. I don't even feel the desire to spend. I think part of it is I have a different goal in mind. I have a very large tuition bill due for DS in January and I would like to pay it in cash. It is more important to me than a latte or a new pair of shoes.

Present and accounted for. I am going for 12 no buy days. Which is half of the days leading up to our trip which is where I will end it because DISNEY. I am not counting bills that need to be paid.

2 - No spend day number 2! Went to collect ingredients for a potluck dish and picked up an rx and those don't count.
3 - No spend day number 3!
4 - New sneakers for my hubby to break in before the trip: $40 and $3 at walmart for a coupon book to hold cash and gift cards as well as sharpies for autographs $3.
5 - No spend day number 4!
6 - Spent $10.78 at Dollar tree on ponchos, garbage bags and some things for our trip.
7 - Spent $25 on window well covers because ALLTHERAIN and $30 for Lularoe leggings.
8 - Stopped in at Ross this morning to find some tops and found the Halloween decorations instead. $60 later....pushing myself to get back on track tomorrow!
9 Happy to report that I got back on track today for No spend day number 5!
10 Spent $100+ today, but I had bachelorette duties and I knew this expense was coming. Doesn't make it any easier though

12 No spend day number 7, bought groceries but those don't count and had bridal party duties, but these ones were already paid for. Woooooo!
13 I struggled today, tempted not only by Starbucks but also by lunch options for what I knew would be a stressful and busy day. I toughed it out thought for no spend day number 8!
14 My comfy gel padded flip flops gave out on me today, went and bought a pair to replace them for our trip. $30.
15 Payday, the usual gas and groceries which don't count. $75 for a wedding gift and $13 for a haircut.

17 Belt for the wedding today (really glad wedding weekend is almost over!)
18 I am preemptively calling No spend day number 10, so I will remember today that I do not want to have to come back here and edit this!
19 $10 at Portillo's because my sister decided last minute that she needed to see me before I leave.
20 Took $20 from the ATM because now my Mom has decided last minute that she needs to see me before I leave. I'm getting really discouraged here. I love my family but I'm trying not to spend money before this trip and I have so much to do, and I'm losing half a day I can be getting things done making family members feel better.
21 This worked for me on the 18th, so I'll do it again today. Don't have to leave the house except for picking up the kids, so today is going to be no spend day number 11 and I don't want to have a sad face and have to come back and change it lol.

Spent two days at Universal and the night at Portofino Bay (long since paid for) so I had a few beers in the parks on Monday. I brought a cooler with breakfast and sandwich fixings and only had dinner "out". The hotel coffee was vile so I had a venti iced coffee at US. A very spendy two days!

I had noticed the brought in food restrictions for SeaWorld on my last visit. Picnic lunches, sandwiches and larger coolers aren't allowed, snack sized items (under 3.25 oz) are. I decided to try bringing in a "snack", fully prepared to pitch it if asked. I packed a ziploc of carrots/tomatoes and one of cucumber slices into my bag. I put a single serve mini-tub of hummus and a bag of apple slices (1/2 Apple) in my seriously capacious pockets. It all went through security without a hitch. I bought a beer at a fairly empty waterside restaurant and had an early lunch while watching the water fountains in the lake

Dinner was in the condo-the last of the taco meat made into a taco salad along with the rest of the apple.

I went to Aquatica today intending to only stay for an hour or two but was there for most of the day. (Roas Rapids is very fun-even for a solo!) My big old insulated cup full of ice was allowed in but I saw at least three people headed back to their cars with ice chests or bagged lunches. Early dinner (large salad with roasted chicken) in the condo.

September 24 - Flew home from work. Went grocery shopping for the remainder of the month. I shop for one week at a time. So my final grocery budget for September is $501.67 spent of a $500.00 budget. I am pretty happy with that! I am picking up a lot of basics at Aldi's and the difference it has made in my grocery bill is crazy. Their fresh fruits and veggies are great prices and I get a lot of dairy from there. We don't buy much prepared food so I can't comment on those items. My spending did include two very large fresh pumpkins to decorate with. I wasn't going to buy any at all this year, but then I saw Aldis had huge pumpkins for $2.99 each, I bought two.

September 25 - Shopping for odds and ends, nothing that wasn't on my list, but I'm still not going to count it as No Buy. Birthday gifts, pool supplies.
The rest of my week should pretty easily be No Buy.
