September Intineraries?? Post them here!

I feel so inadequate.

I am coming with a DW, DD, and DAunt on 9/21. We are driving down after school (all the adults work for school system) and getting there around midnight. Wake up the next morning and rotate our time sleeping, parks, and the pool until we leave on 9/26. We just go. Don't really plan anything.

I do not know what to do. When do the park hours come out. We will leave for wdw aug 31. I need to make ressies june 1, but how will i know what i want if i do not know the hours???

Umm...so I think thats about it for now. Cant wait!!!!

This is our combined DVC/DCL with a trip to WDW. Next week we're going to NYC (first time, Broadway, Yankees, etc), but I'm much more excited about our fall trip...

Arrive late Fi 9/2 - OKW (DVC pts). DH has to be drugged to fly, so there is no point in arriving early in the day, as he would sleep anyway. So, last flight out of SB-ORL is perfect for us (2nd time doing this). Rent Budget car one way.

Sat 9/3 - Boatwright's for breakfast. Tentatively plan on going to Cape Canaveral for the day, as we had this planned a year or so ago and it was cancelled due to DH's pinched nerve which kept him home. If, however, as we get closer I decide I need more Disney, then this is a Disney day. DCL is hosting a gathering at PI, so we'll do that. Probably Jiko's for dinner - have never done that.

Sun 9/4 - Breakfast at the Yacht Club (maybe). Check-in to our cruise around noon. Loaf rest of day.

Mon 9/5-Wed 9/7 - AAAAHHHHHH

Thur 9/8 - Rent Budget car one way. Tentatively Typhoon Lagoon followed by DQ. Dinner unknown (!).

Fri 9/9 - Breakfast at Fresh. MGM in AM (lunch at Sci-Fi), Epcot in PM. Dinner undecided (!).

Sat 9/10 - Breakfast at Crystal Palace (first time). Must do Stitch and buy Stitch merchandise. Leave WDW 1-ish, fly out 3-ish.

Sun 9/11 - GLOOM :guilty:

We will be arriving on September 4th after a long drive from PA. We will be staying in a hotel outside of the park area that night. We will probably eat near Downtown Disney that night. We can check in for our paclage at 8am on the 5th. Our package included 5 nights, 5 days of the meal plan, and 6 park tickets (no hoppers). Here is how I am hoping it works, it all depends on the park hours and PS!!

Monday: MK Dinner at the Crystal Palace with Pooh
Tuesday: MGM Dinner at Hollywood and Vines
Wednesday: MK Breakfast at Ohana at the Poly Resort
Thursday: Epcot Dinner at the Garden Grill
Friday: MK Dinner at Chef Mickey
Saturday: AK and leave seomtime that afternoon for home.

It is our first trip with the kids (3 year old and one turning 2 during our trip.) I hope to do several character meals so we don't have to worry abput tracking characters down. Let me know what you think!

would you say it is REALLY essential to plan the trip like most you guys do ?

we're staying for 6 days and i dont have any plan yet, i only know what we like more than other

Max

I have made my plans early so I can get reservations (PS) at the dinners we want.

hmm do you also think reservations for dinner are important ? are there no chances to just go there and eat ? we want to try to save as much money as possible..

:) Hi Max from Germany!
If you plan to save a lot of money than you better eat at the foodcourts. You don't have to make reservations for the foodcourts ofcourse. But if you want to have a sitdown dinner/lunch it is recommended...
And ofcourse you don't have to plan everything, but hey there are a lot of people on this board that love to plan and that's what this thread is about. I myself am the go with the flow type, for me that's essential on vacation :)

thanks alot "fromeurope "(where from?) yeah, thats exactly me...i know what i like and i know what i dont like so much....i think I'll start off with TL on our arrival day, we arrive at about lunch time

greets , max

Until I know EMH I really can't be positive, but we are flying out of BWI on SWA and arriving in MCO at 1. We'll take ME to the Poly and check in. We'll head over to Fantasyland and spend a couple hours and then go back to the Poly for dinner at O'hana at 6:30 (hope to catch Wishes)

Then we'll head to bed so we can get an early morning.
Breakfast in the CL and then EE at whichever park is that day.
PS we plan to have are the Princess Dinner at EPCOT, 1900 Park Fair at GF, Marrakesh at EPCOT.

We leave at 6:45pm on Friday, so we plan to visit any attractions we missed/really liked and then eat lunch at the Castle (new Cinderella lunch beginning June 10) before taking ME back to MCO.

We've never been in September before. With shortened hours, I find myself doing more preplanning than in previous trips. This could all change based upon EMH and confirmed hours - but I based it on the historical September hours.

::MickeyMo I am going solo to. This is the first time i will be going to see Mickey in September .

I am so unsure about what dates to pick. We need 10 days (one week timeshare exchange, and 3 extra days hopefully at the same resort in the same room). We definately want to go in September, but, I really wanted to avoid Labor Day and Nights of Joy. Now with the new break being implemented by some school districts (the 19th through the 23rd), I don't know when to schedule our trip :confused3 . If I have to travel during one of these events which one do you think will draw the lowest crowds?

Thanks fellow Disers!!

Kelly

I have from the 9th-16th in an RCI timeshare, Cypress Point (1 block from Disney's hotel row).

Then ...the next 4 days @ the Boardwalk in a DVC studio that I rented here on the rent trade board??
