September heat

Looking at the average highs/lows, I can see that Sep is only 1 degree lower than July and August in terms of temperature. But it's been 10 years since I went to Florida in summertime, so can anyone here tell me if I'll have much need for a long sleeved top or jacket in September (apart from traveling from/to the UK and hurricanes)? Just don't want to take more than I really need.

TIA!
(only 3 more weeks! :woohoo: )

We've been quite a few times in Sept and it's not usually cold at all. More often than not it's wet or overcast though in my experience, that's why we moved our annual jaunt to may.

We have always visited in September & its always been around 90%, you tend to get a thunderstorm in the afternoon but soon dries up and gets hot again. Never ever had the need to wear a jumper even late at night, fingers cross this September will be the same.

we were there in september last year and it was HOT....
the only time i needed anything was for the indoor air conditioning..
it was hot hot hot outside....both during the day and at night...

September is still very hot.. I've travelled in June/July/August aswell and the temps seemed comparable to me. I brought a thin cardigan but didn't use it, I guess if you feel the cold you might need it in the 'particularly' air conditioned restaurants :)
