September Exercise Challenge - WE DID IT!!

i'm happy to add another 30 mins for today -- i ended up stretching for 10 mins after my ride this morning, and just walked with my neighbor tonight -- 175/1500
 
It seems that I have discovered the rare commodity of some "found" time which means that I have some time to devote to exercise (finally). Having never done one of these Exercise Challenges, I am going to start small with a pledge of 500 minutes. I think that should be doable and I'm looking forward to trying.

Adding 30 minutes today - weight routine - maybe a bike ride tonight - that is still undetermined at the moment - shopping may prevail - :goodvibes

just a word of caution - make sure you don't overdo and end up with a stress fracture (ah, yes- I did this a few years ago) and stretch - stretch - stretch :teeth:
 

I did a ton of walking this weekend....managed to get in 120 - so 120/1000 for now!!!
 
Wow, I don't know what I was thinking when I put in my goal for the Sept. challenge! 1500 is 50 minutes a day! I'm at 225/1500 so far. This is great to make me feel I have to get moving even if I feel like saying I'll get to it later. Hopefully, a nice long walk after work tonight. Have a great day everyone!

I just managed the 1000 minutes in the August challenge, so I guess I should try for a bit more to push myself. Going for 1200.

As of right now, 100/1,200 after bicycle riding, horse trail riding and walking on our camping trip over the weekend.

I did 45 minutes on the elliptical yesterday, bringing me to 195/1100. I will be taking today off (but I will get in 10 minutes of walking). For one, my DD6 has soccer practice and I doubt I'll be able to squeeze a workout in, and #2, my legs are SORE!!! That Pilates Sculpt DVD kills me everytime...
 
I got in my 30 minutes on the TM this morning bringing me to 150/500.
 
oh i have not posted in a while... i had 60 mins of swimming, 30 mins of soccer game, 120 mins of practice puts me to 370.
 
Hi! Could I get involved in this?? Since I am new to this, I am wondering how many minutes of exercise I would get in for the rest of the month. Should I start with 500 or 750?? I have to lose weight and start exercising...this baby weight is NOT COMING OFF AFTER 3 1/2 MONTHS and I am FREAKING OUT!!!! I want to lose 60 pounds, but I would be happy with whatever I can get! HELP!!!!!!
 
was 60 minutes on the tread mill and 10 minutes of stretching so that brings me to

480/1500
 
:worship: like i told my PM buddy group this morning -- IT'S HARDER THAN IT LOOKS!!!

ballet that is :rotfl: I started my ballet classes last night and my inner and outer thighs felt the burn :faint:

but i'm registered, bought those uncomfy shoes and i'm in for the haul. i can even count my plie homework towards the challenge right, that will inspire me to work on it during the week too!

so 45 mins of ballet last night and 60 mins of pilates/yoga this morning brings me to 320/1500
