September Event

I want to go to the event to get together with all my pin friends. I don't want to miss whatever Jeff and Lauri are planning.
BUT... I have to work. I won't be able to get to the event until late Friday afternoon so I would miss all the Friday stuff. They say pins must be picked up by 4 and I won't be able to get to FL until at least 6 pm.
Would anyone be interested in splitting the fee for the event and going on Friday and I will go on Saturday? I don't want to sponsor someone for the event because there is not much I want, and to pay all that money to just buy two pins is crazy. If the person I sponsored at least got Bfst for that cost I would think again but not for the chance to buy pins.
The only other thing I can think to do is ask if anyone would be willing to put a pin or two down on their RSP for me. I only want the Mickey scientist and the Figment. I don't see anything else that catches my eye.
But I will be there for Friday and Saturday night and can't wait to see everyone. Peggie

Peggi - trust me- i wish we were going to be there - it does sound like fun. Can we request one pin from those attending - the Figment pin for Roger? I would appreciate it a lot. If you can add it to your RSP or have an extra- i will be glad to send along the money. Thanks. Caroline

Peggie, you don't have to worry about missing a breakfast this year, there isn't one included! It seems we are only paying $53 for the 'right' to buy pins. But they are 'exclusive' pins, and we won't have to wait in lines. The problem is, I just don't trust them!
And while I can't speak for Jeff and Lauri, I don't think they have anything planned for this year, because I don't think they plan on going!
I'm still on the fence as far as whether I can swing another trip this year or not.
