Who else is on this cruise? It’s a Halloween cruise and goes to Lighthouse Point on the Magic!

I would be happy to organize a Local Treat exchange if there’s interest!

Bobbi :wave2:

we just booked this cruise last night.. looking forward to Lookout Cay! my DH and I in our late 60's are avid Disney fans!
:welcome: We are in our late 70’s and avid Disney fans too. Ok, I am a bigger fan than my DH.

We are Bobbi and Tom. I am happy to organize a local snack treat exchange if you are interested!

Hi Bobbi and Tom! I'm not really into snack treat exchange (food allergies) and am not really into halloween... I'm here for the cruise!! Flying in the night before from Michigan. We cruised on the sister ship Wonder a few years ago and love the smaller ship and classic decor. And Mickey. grin.
We are Cyndi and Frank.

We will be flying in the night before from Philadelphia.

The one thing I'm kinda concerned about is the long walk on the pier from the boat to the island... I really hope they get trams out for us ancient ones. lol. I see there is a tram on the island... maybe they can extend it to the ship.

I am considering renting an ECV specifically for the island.

Truly it’s disappointing that I am considering this. We were on the Magic in May and a walker was fine for me.

I didn't see where you could rent a scooter (like I do at Disneyworld) on the Island>..:moped:

It has been mentioned that golf carts will be available for those who need one.
I will be calling/emailing DCL Disabilities and asking how we arrange that.

Since the island is newly opened up for guests this week, I watched a youtube video walk thru.. I saw no scooters or golf carts at all, so I did wonder if they were even allowed. There is A LOT of sand off the boardwalks, that cannot be scooter friendly..

Ok…thank you for the mention of sand. The ECV is not a good idea. I will find out about help in getting down the pier. There’s a form to ask questions. I’m going to wait a bit, perhaps the answer to the golf cart help will soon be mentioned here.

Yes, we have time before we "need to know" about ECV's. I just booked our flight, it always a struggle between waiting for a good price and needing to get workable times of arrival and departure.

DH bought our tix months ago. He just always does that.

We do enjoy Halloween things, and we will stay at WDW ( we are DVC) for two nights after the cruise and we have MNSSHP tickets.

We do have a HA cabin, I cannot safely use bathtubs. Some have said if you have a HA cabin, they will arrange you to have lift over the pier.

That's cool and thoughtful that you will have a lift over the pier. I can walk, just not far or all day.

It’s almost time! If anyone wants to exchange local treats via Fish Extenders, please mention here. It’s been a long time, but I have organized fish extender exchanges in the past! Local treats, factory packed!

Hi! I just found this thread. We will be doing this cruise and the cruise right before it. We LOVE Halloween on the High Seas. if you see a family that has a 2 person Slinky Dog costume on Halloween night that will be our daugter and me! hahahaha We were on the Inaugural cruise to Lookout in June and I cannot wait to see it again and see how much has changed already.
