2 WEEKS...This is real? Of course it is real whether I am ready or NOT!!!

Reality is setting in...I have the reveal party Saturday and my family is coming up here to stay for the weekend so they can attend so on top of all the getting ready I have to clean from top to bottom.....AJ is still sick. His doctor said that it is either pneumonia or severe bronchitis He is just a trooper about it. We have to go back to make sure he is clear before going to Disney though. His lungs are really junky. Forgot to mention that besides the reveal party being on Saturday it is ALSO Carissa's 18th birthday (she was so gracious to share her day for the reveal) AND we are celebrating Mother's Day since I cannot make it down for the weekend!

Last night we had such a severe storm pass througha nd are supposedly having more today but we got through it no damage and still have the power!The last part is always my biggest worry...No power no water phone or way to run the feed pump!! I really need to look into a generator to have on standby!

I still need to plan out our days and now we are trying to meet up with my Uncle who lives in Orlando...He may have to go to the Christmas party with us LOL BUT this is a good thing, maybe he can raise awareness about GKTW...he seems like he is unfamiliar with it!

So today I think we are finally packing away the coats and hats in favor of the shorts and tees. Good thing because I have nothing laid out for ME for the trip...Cant go naked!!! Cant believe that it was flurring here last week and yesterday it was near 80 degrees!! AND I WONDER WHY AJ IS SICK!!!!

Well down to 13 days and getting antsy!! Tomorrow we are having the family up and they are going to our Reveal/Presentation party on Saturday. This is a BIG party it is at some Mansion which is also a museum. There will be a princess tea party, childrens musicians, press of some sort and then we go to a discovery center....At the party they are giving us luggage so I can FINALLY pack!!!

Still nervous about the flight...Not sure if we have to get our luggage when we change planes or if they will transfer it for us....Going to have to call the airlines for that one!

AJ made it to school BUT he was a bear before and after....He did NOT want to get up but who could blame him...He was awakened to a tornado watch....then a flood and flash flood watch. The rain stopped not before I had water surrounding me LOL and then the sun came out....CRAZY WEATHER!!!!

Thanks for the luggage answer I just called the airline...My sister who flies ALOT said that with US Air she had to get her luggage and recheck it?!? It will be crazy enough with the layovers and just the carry on stuff and car seat!! I did not need 6 additional bags!!!

I have only ever had to reclaim my luggage if I was flying into the US from another country. Then you do have to reclaim it, go through customs, then recheck it to your final destination. But within the US I have never had to do that.

ETA: Meant to add that I agree the weather has been crazy all over the place. Hope things will settle down soon. And glad that AJ is doing a little better, hope he continues to improve.

Dear GOD I cannot believe that this is happening!!!!

Last night we caught Eva eating a piece of paper. We took it away and a small piece out of her mouth and thought nothing of it. She went to bed and every once in a while I heard a little cough.....thinking it was allergies I just waited.

Around 12:30 AM she awakes in a coughing fit and vomits. Here we go I thought...Picked her up cleaned her up and as I am doing so I realize she is BURNING up...103.5 LOVELY!!!! So strip her down and wait then I see she is struggling to breath. I check her O2 sats they are at 92% while awake...so if she falls asleep they will drop. FANTASTIC....

I am now going on 2 hours of sleep if you could call it sleep because Eva was on me throwing herself everywhere....Temp is still 102.5 and I am trying to do all I can to keep her home....Our reveal party is tomorrow. I have no clue itf the paper thing is just a coincidence BUT she was absolutely FINE for that past couple of days. Hoping that it is NOT aspiration pneumonia!

I have no clue as to what to do, I am thinking that given her history we are so looking at an admission!!!! I am hoping to do the reveal party and then get her in the hospital from there. I just hope we can still get to Disney!!!

So we are in the hospital...Eva's fever goes up to 103.9 at times. They are alternating tylenol and motrin. Although her xray and blood work looks good she is unable to keep her O2 sats up without O2...Off of O2 she is at 86/87. the Dr says it could be a virus. I have a hard time when she struggles to breathe staying focused and calm....MAW is going to have the party here....the hospital we are in is NOT the one I usually go to it is right down the road from where we were going to have the reveal party. I just hope we figure out what is going on. This is really scary! Usually she fights the masks but she is actually pulling it toward her I think she realizes that she needs it.

I will update with new news asap.

We were just diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia. We are awaiting transport to Syracuse Childrens Hospital...the trip does not look too good at this point but honestly Eva is very sick. Her breathing is very labored and she is just craving the O2. She is on iv steriods antibiotics and aggressive neb treatments with little response. Please keep her in your prayers.
