THERE WERE no PARTIES...We are in the PICU. So far so good we had some PVCs show up so we are now looking closely at this. Awaiting tests to rule out RSV and the Flu. At this time we are taking things as they come. We are uncertain if we are still able to take Eva on the trip. She is on room air now but she alarms a lot and she is having some weird things going on so the Doctors are trying to sort thru to the source of what could be causing this. They said that they thought that the pneumonia was viral since she is still running high fevers.

I feel so bad missing Carissa's 18th birthday!! She is so sweet about it! I hope we can still go to Disney but if not ....it just was not what God wants us to do...We just want Eva better and will go in September if we need to put it off.

I'm sorry you have to postpone the trip. You'll likely be happier going with a healthy daughter though. I hope Eva is doing better today and recovers quickly.

Pretty good day and the fever is finally seeming to have subsided. If Eva keeps it up we are going home tomorrow but we are still going to postpone going because she is just not her little self. She has a terrible cough and has lost over a pound already. We have asked to see if June 1-7 is available to go. No answer yet.

Still touch and go right now. Eva's sats seem to like to stay at 90..and then drop to 86 during some episodes of breathing difficulty..I am waiting for the doctor to get in and see what we can do for her because I am not going home like this when any help is 1/2 hour away.

She is really scaring me this time around because her response to treatment is so short lived.

No change... tomorrow if still the same she will be sedated and given a bronchoscopy with intubation.

Rough night...Back on oxygen. Her sats with the O2 are only 90-92. She so fights the masks. With the oxygen she still has a resp rate of 54 so she is really working hard. I worry about her wearing out her little body she is really lethargic unless it comes to pulling off the mask or pushing away the nurse when she needs to access the IV.

They are still planning on doing the bronchoscopy tomorrow am. I will update with that when she is stable afterward. I just thank God that I push to stay when they seem ready to send us home because each time I have she does something like this proving that she needs to be here.

June is a no go the dates are full at GKTW. So now we are back to looking for new dates possible September or October.
