mdwoodman said:For any of you who have done this before, how does rotational dining work on the 4-night cruise? We're accustomed to the 7- (and 14-) nighters where it would be LAPLAPL (Lumiere, Animator's Palate, Parrot Cay), for example. I read a Disney Dream TR that said they had RAEE (Royal Palace, Animator's Palate, Enchanted Garden). I know that you can start at any of the three restaurants; I'm just wondering why it wouldn't be RAER in this case.![]()
Thanks for asking this question, I am curious about the dining/restaurant info, also. First Disney Cruise for us. Semper Fi! ( My Dad was a Marine in WWII). Deb

having walked the okinawa and iwo jima wwii battlegrounds, i have the utmost respect and admiration for the "greatest generation" because of what they suffered through and accomplished for our freedom. I pray that their sacrifices are never forgotten. Semper fi!

I would love to have animators twice. Best dinner for the kids.
dvc deernut said:OUR WAITERS WERE GREAT. WE HAD A TABLE KIND OF IN THE MIDDLE OF ANIMATORS. SINCE WE HAVE BEEN BEFORE I NEW WE WERE TO FAR AWAY TO HAVE CRUSH TALK TO US. WE HAD THE GRAND KIDS WITH US WHO HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE. SO ON THE SECOND NIGHT OF ANIMATORS WE WERE DELIGHTED TO FIND OUT OUR WAIT STAFF HAD ARRANGED TO SEAT US RIGHT BESIDE THE SCREEN. THEY KNEW THE PEOPLE WHO WERE SITTING THERE WERE ALL AT PALOS. I WORE MY CANADIAN TOQUE TO ATTRACK CRUSHES ATTENTION. IT WAS GREAT HE TALKED WITH ME AND THEN GOT THE KIDS INVOLVED. THEY LOVED IT.
ANOTHER THING THE WAITERS DID FOR US WAS EACH NIGHT THEY ARRANGED SPECIAL DESSERTS. LAURA AND I LIKE THE GRAND MARNIER FROM THE ROYAL PALACE. WE USUALLY GET 2 EACH.MMMMMMM. WE HAD ROYAL PALACE THE FIRST NIGHT AND I TOLD THE WAITER LAURA AND I DONT NEED THE DESSERT MENU WE LOOK FORWARD TO GRAND MARNIERS
THE NEXT NIGHT THEY BROUGHT US THEY BROUGHT US 2 SPECIALLY MADE FOR US. ON THE THIRD NIGHT OUR WAITER TOLD US THEY HAD ANOTHER SPECIAL DESSERT FOR US. CHOCOLATE SOUFLAYS FROM PALOS SPECIALLY MADE FOR US.
ON THE LAST MORNING LAURA AND I ALWAYS HAVE PALOS BRUNCH. WE NOW REQUEST MARKO UP THERE TO BE OUR WAITER. HE WAS THE ONE THAT TOLD US OUR WAITER FROM OUR REGULAR ROTATION CAME UP TO PALOS LAST NIGHT AND HAD THEM MAKE 7 SPECIAL CHOCLATE SOUFLAYS FOR US. THATS A PALOS SPECIAL DESSERT.
LIKE USUALLY I MAKE A SHORT STORY LONG. I STARTED OUT TALKING ABOUT ANIMATORS AND ENDED UP TALKING ABOUT OUR DINING EXPERIENCE. I GUESS IM JUST SAYING THEY WILL GO THAT EXTRA STEP TO MAKE YOUR CRUISE MEMORABLE. I WILL REQUEST THEM FOR NEXT SEPT TO BE OUR WAIT STAFF IF THEY ARE ON THE SHIP.![]()
when is pirate night and when is the at sea day on this cruise?
It looks like the dining rotations are the same as the other 4night dream cruises. but I'm confused as to how all three rotations work if they close one dining room for each seating on the member cruises.

Yes! God bless the "greatest generation". My Father was a WWII vet as well. He was a sergeant in an Army Recon platoon serving in Germany. He had 11 kids and never spoke a word about it to any of us. After his passing we looked up his service record and learned that he had been awarded 5 Bronze Stars and earned slightly over $300 total pay for 2 1/2 yrs. of service. I'm sure there were many, many more just like him.
Thanks to all of them!
I also have had respect for all who fought. My dad who just past away at 94 was shot twice after they landed at dunkirk. When he fought their scottish regiment fought in kilts. Wasnt long after that they stopped wearing them in battle. My dad never talked about the war.
