Trent,I can't believe you have one just down the street and you're not a member!!! Ours is 30 minutes away and I gladly make the trip just to browse around. Plus, you can return anything (other than computers and TVs which have a 90 day return--but they extend the manufacturers warranty for an extra year) if you are ever not satisfied. And their gas prices are typically about $.12 to $.15 cheaper per gallon than where we live.
Trent,
I can't tell u how many times I thought about joining.......my concern was more about not having room to store items in bulk. I don't have alot of storage in my house. I don't have a basement---only an attic and you can't even stand all the way upgright in it. So my hesitation was all about where do I store these bulk items. But I will give them a second consideration....thanks again for the head's up.
I'n not sure if my questions earlier has been answered: Is there a separate entrance fee for the MSNNHP at the MK? If so, how much is it??
We plan on getting to the MK after 4 pm----then it's just the cost of the MNSSHP tix. So you wouldn't need to use a hopper day.StaciJo says :Yes, there is a separate entrance fee. You can buy the tickets in advance for about $41.50 adult/$35 child 3-9 years (including tax);
Oh yes MommaLuvsDis.....we have those !The spring type floats are only aired up around the edgeof the netting that is in the middle so they blow up in about the time it takes to blow up the pillow on they other kind of floats, which is another reason I love them.
Words of wisdom ! We saw a few in PJ's our last cruise ! Now I doubt we'll have this problem early in Oct in FL, but on our last cruise we were taken by suprise. Spent a week in the Carribbean in Nov and it was hot. Docked in Cape Canaveral ....got off the ship at 9:30 am to all of 48 degrees !!!! All we left out for ourselves were shorts ! But I don't think we should see this on Oct 6. It's still pretty hot in FL that time.Don't forget to keep all UNDER GARMENTS, shoes, toiletries, meds, clothes etc because you will not see your luggage again until you are off the ship. I'm sure you don't want to be getting off the ship in your jammies!
Yes, there is a separate entrance fee. You can buy the tickets in advance for about $41.50 adult/$35 child 3-9 years (including tax); if you have an annual pass or are a DVC member, there is a discount. Day-of tickets are $7-$8 more, but they can sell out in advance. I haven't been in years, but it was pretty neat last time I went. We're going September 14, so that we aren't suffering from sleep loss as we climb on the boat (you guys who are going the night before are real gung-ho vacationers - I just don't think I have it in me to stay up that late and then get up the next morning and start vacationing!!).
Have fun!
Staci
Hello All,
Late entry here, but count four more in for the Sept 29 cruise. My wife (38), me (36), and our two boys (7&6). Our littlest one (1 yr daughter) is skipping this one and is spending time with Grandmom and Granddad.
We are all excited about the cruise. This is our first cruise in a bit (2005 4 day DCL), and the first 7 day trip with our boys.
See you all onboard!
P.S. -> thanks for the very cool signature graphic.
Pete
Unfortunately it was either stay up late or don't do the party at all!So we chose to stay up late of course!
We are going to take it easy on Friday as we are actually flying in on Thursday. Wished they would have has MNSSHP on the 6th or 7th but no luck. Anyway the way I figure it is we have 2 sea days to recover!
Probably gonna come back exhausted anyway because we have plans at WDW for both days
so I took an extra day off from work and only go back for a three day week!

MiaSRN62, I was on call this whole weekend, thankfully it only involed a few phone calls and a quick trip to solve a glucometer problem!![]()
LAWalz23, we have the exact same schedule!! We're flying in Thursday night, taking it easy on Friday until 4, and then heading to MK for the MNSSHP! Then, we have the 6th to do either Sea World (which we've not done before with our girls) or go to one of the WDW parks (which we've done twice before!) Hmmm..
Groovy, as for MNSSHP, the Disney site says it starts at around 7 pm, but you can actually get into the MK at 4 (or 4:30) with the MNSSHP tickets. That way, you have 3 hours or so to ride all the rides, and then the actual Halloween party takes place from 7 or so until midnight. DH and I can't wait! The girls of course still don't know about any of this. Can y'all believe I've kept this secret so far!

Btw, I just got an over the door hanger this weekend at a dollar store (ok so it's SUPER ugly but I'm throwing it out after the cruise anyway) - it's very flat and should take hardly and space in the luggage, I think gro0vy was concerned about that?
For those doing the MNSSHP, your kids will be in halloween costumes then? I can't wait to take pics and video of my DD trick or treating in DisneyWorld!! What a treat!![]()

FYI for those of you with DS's they sell Jack Sparrow costumes at Costco.. I think they're less than $20.

We finally were able to confirm our contribution for the goody bags. Put us down for pirate pinwheels.Kids should find plenty of wind up on deck to have some fun with these.
