I found some awesome licensed POTC trinkets for the goody bags today at Walmart. Lip gloss, key chains, pins, soap-on-a-rope, bubble bath, etc.

Do you have enough for all the bags?

Carol (pahrumpgirl) and her DH Doug shipped several boxes before the 11 night last year and the booze box didn't make it. I can't remember if they ever found out why or not.

Denise - What is your connect to Carol, so I can add to the first post?

LIP GLOSS! Pirates don't wear lip gloss , wear lip gloss but not pirates... Can we give it another name?? Something alittle more pirately , my grandson's won't wear something called lip golss.
I'm only teasing you know (Cheer up dewey's girll) That's why I grumpy-gramps.

How big are the bags? As big as the list is they will have to be back packs, to carry all the stuff.

Pirates can use lipgloss as a gift to win over I think Capt Jack Sparrow would use that little trick. The ladies always like gifts!!!

The bags aren't that big. I am going to go this weekend and see if I can get 2 more packs just in case we need more then 1 bag for each kid. The response has been great much better then I expected. Glad I got in on a good group!!

Wow congratulations to all who have lost weight!!! I'm sooo jealous. And Ibela... 15 lbs??? I gained like 40 lbs when I was pregnant and I have some of it still.. just spread around.. hehehehe.

We'll be arriving in Orlando the thursday before our cruise, so I'll just buy wine there then.

There's some kind of a chapel onboard is there? I'm just wondering if there are sunday services. I should call my TA.

Yes, they do have sunday services, my dh and I went to the one on our western cruise. It is usually run by one of the castmembers and they read a passage from the bible, talk a little and sing. It is held I think in Diversions or one of the adult area rooms. We plan to go to this one as well since we try not to miss church. I know on some cruise ship they have a minister, because my dad is a pastor and often gets free cruises with Norwegian to minister on the ship.

The first day at sea................................................... Sunday

The second day at sea............................................... Monday

On Saturday, The day we leave Port, at 3:00pm we meet at the Prom Lounge.

Now on the first day at sea, Sunday (not the second day at sea Monday) we meet for lunch and picture by Capt. Mickey....
What happened to the meeting on the second day at sea ????????
Did I miss something? We switched?? I'm only asking this because that is what page 1 says, I think...

We're supposed to meet on Saturday, before we sail.
We're supposed to meet on Monday, for lunch, 12 pm. Mickey statue. Monday was decided so people have Sunday to do their thing, get use to the ship, have fun, etc.

Yes, that's right. The Luncheon is on Monday. Saturday is set sail day, Sunday is first day at sea and everyone is checking things out and Monday, the second "at sea day" is the day of the lunch.

Hi Eva! No, not at all! I was thinking the more the merrier, for sure! But then when I came across the little toys and such at Walmart on clearance, I couldn't resist buying them for the goody bags. (I can never pass up a good sale ) If you would bring the chocolate coins, I think they are always a big hit with the kids.

I have to tell you guys, I am so torn with these excursion decisions. I wish we could do The Doubloon in the morning and a tour in the afternoon, but I can't find a tour that coincides with that schedule.

Has anyone tried Sunny Liston or Godfrey's?

I thought about doing Doubloon in the AM and then going back to the ship to leave my DS in the clubs while I do a little afternoon shopping...he is not a shopper! Has anyone ever been off the ship and left their kids in the club?

1:15 was the only time showing availability for me as well but I did not get on until 6:00 am this morning. I, too, was hoping for a bit later so we wouldn't feel rushed to eat lunch. In the end, 1:15 is probably best for us because my DD will probably need a nap by that point. That will be the last full day of a two week vacation and I am sure she will be beat.

Hi Veronica, can you do me a favor when you get a chance. Would you login to your cruise plans and see if your CC Island Cruise is still booked? I just checked and mine is gone! I went to add it back in thinking it accidently got cancelled or something but now I don't even see it on the list!

I left both of my DD's in the club in Nassau. We took them over to the Pirate Museum and through the straw market and then went back to the ship, had lunch, put them in the club and went back over to Atlantis for a couple of hours. I was a bit nervous but the counselor in the club told us to go and have fun, so we did and it all worked out fine.

The best I can do is the DCL St. Thomas Island Tour at 8a-10:30a, then Captain Nautica from 12N-4:00pm. The Doubloon won't work if we plan on doing any kind of little excursion to tour the island so I think I'm just going to stick with Sunny and go to Sapphire for a couple of hours after his tour. At least I can get some shopping time, the family gets the tour and the kids get some snorkeling/beach time all in one. Everyone's happy!
