We weren't here to celebrate DS's birthday, so we're celebrating tonight. I'm making his favorite dish (shrimp and grits) & yeast rolls. Dessert is birthday cake.
Art of Animation is so beautiful… I got to take it in last year…We wanted something quick so we went to Landscape of Flavors at AoA for Mongolian beef and Sesame chicken.
Ah, spaghetti. A favorite of the Haunted Mansion…I'm making spaghetti tonight. I'll have to make a separate portion of ziti for my young granddaughter because regular spaghetti is a "fear food" for her.
@tarheelmjfan Eating on the road is always a challenge, and between my own stuff and DD's competition schedule, I'm about to do a lot of that. I also think I'll have to learn how to use my phone and doordash; I was pretty jealous watching folks at yesterday's competition chow down on Olive Garden food while I was eating cheese and crackers for the 2nd time that day! It's good to know that TacoBell has put the salad back on the menu.
Tonight will be creamy chicken/veg/wild rice soup. I started it last Thursday as DD/SIL/LittleGuy were coming for dinner but that plan changed, so it was on the menu for Friday, but THAT plan changed. DD and I were away from early Saturday until about 11pm yesterday, so obviously I wasn't eating supper at that time. SO soup and rolls tonight, salad if I get to the store. I'm tired and have a mountain of work to do so I'm not sure about the store. How can I already be tired when it's not even 8am yet?
