Hi! We are just off the Dream, and we saw the Wonder in port. The Wonder just finished the EBPC cruise and will be leaving for extensive dry dock in Europe!

We had both Pirate night and Halloween festivities!

Halloween festivities began on embarkation day and continued the second day. There was trick or treating for kids in afternoon, with adult costume party at night. Pirate night was CC day. Party began at 10:30.

The Halloweeen festivities actually ended last night with a final story telling time at 7:30.
The story telling for Halloween takes place in the atrium.

Now on Embarkation night at 10;45 they showed Nightmare before Christmas in Walt Disney Theater, with character appearances afterward. I did not go to that this time. At 11, they showed "the light between two oceans" in the Buena Vista theater and I went to that. This was the only showing of either of those 2 movies.

If there are other questions, I will try to answer.

Thanks! Sounds like fun and I really hope we have both also. Curious if you remember if both were listed on your docs or just the Halloween (like the DVC member cruise docs)? I would love if we have Halloween festivities the whole time and Pirate night on our Halifax night.

Just so I'm clear -

1) they hosted a Costume contest and trick or treating for kids on embarkation night.

Were the characters in costume in the lobby that night?
Also, were people dressed in costume in the dining rooms that first night?
did they have any Halloween on Deck party activities going on?
where was the costume contest held? I know you were on the Dream but I'm just curious.

2) they still hosted a pirate night on your CC day
Was that Day 3 on your cruise? (which would be our Halifax day)
did they do away with the pirate buffet?

The first night, embarkation, only had a Halloween story at 7:30,
Our day 2 was Nassau Day. The Halloween Trick or Treating for children was second day during afternoon. The party for adults was at night.
Castaway Cay had Pirate night activities night 3.
Day 4 was sea day and a final story by the Pumpkin tree.

Yes there was a Pirate night buffet....crepes, turkey legs, fix your own potato and more!

I do not remember costumes on characters....just never noticed, sorry.
Not too many adults at dinner in costumes, but yes some!

Family Halloween Party....Lobby Atrium 3:15 and 4:45. This was on Day 2, Nassau Day.

The adult party was in Evolution at 10:45. Also on Nassau day.

thanks. sounds like anything goes which is good. We have late dining which makes the pirate buffet difficult to indulge.

I don't see why they wouldn't hold Pirates Night for our cruise unless they're not setting off fireworks for some reason.
Does anyone know if the Canada cruises had any restrictions on fireworks?

Have been on a Halloween cruise. This was in 2009. They had candy stops on every floor and the kids trick or treated. It was fun.

Hi! Yes, we'll be on the EBTA next May, too!

The list is just a reminder, not a count. When we get to Tritons we will tell them how many. For my last cruise, not everyone did show up to eat, some came by just to say hello. It was a lot of fun!

On last week's cruise, there were 3 exchangers and we decided to trade 2 pins to each other. Here are the ones I got. 2 were "tradeable" oldies and 2 were new!

They are keepers, reminders of a very fun cruise! I just realized I did not place the last one correctly. Tigger, of course, should be bouncing on Pooh!!

Even here on Disboard, on the exchange forum, Merriweather organizes a pin exchange a few times a year. I got my very favorite pin in the world from that exchange! Not a good photo!
