September 28, 2016, DVC Member Cruise on the Magic!

I did not check the next sea day...I bet it is offered.

Are they offering brunch only on the 1 at sea day? These short cruises are so tight with timing. I think we were spoiled last year on that 7 day Alaskan member cruise.

There are two sea days and brunch is offered on both days. We booked the first sea day.

If I were a betting man, I'd bet Pirate night will be the port day.

Come here to chat and plan!

I've organized Local Candy Exchanges and would love to organize one here! We use Fish Extenders to pass out local or regional candy or snacks. I keep the number of cabins in each group to 6-11.

I hope other groups will form, meet ups etc. I will keep a look out and keep a list of planned activities here!

Candy Exchange....I will keep a running list of interested folks.

Fish Extender...will someone here keep tabs of that? i do not do FB very often, so on the last MC, I think someone was keeping tabs here and there.

Meets on board....an embarkation day meet is easy to coordinate!

Group Mixology.....any interest in these, there's wine, champagne, mixed drinks....any interest?

Anything else?

In May, I'll ask for cabin numbers, number of participants in each cabin and if there are any allergies. Looking forward to trying and sharing local treats! We usually include something about the history of what we are sharing

I did not get the email!

Last year we did meet and greet with Anna and Elsa and took that as our free picture that DVC gives, one per cabin.

I just went to my cruise experience and did not see how I could sign up. I would do the breakfast, one is not usually offered on short cruises.

So weird. I just went to the site and did not see anywhere I could pre-book this.
Thought maybe it was due to our check-in date not opening up until next week.

But if Bobbi can't see anything as Platinum, then I'm not sure what's happening. the confirm number is definitely the Member Cruise.

Under onboard activities only bibbiti bobbiti boo salon things come up.

I was able to sign up for the M&Gs on my cruise coming up, but not for the member cruise. Nothing shows up except for BBB

Our letter said "As Gold Members" Nope, only our 3rd Disney cruise. Can't check in until June 30. Alaska DVC cruise, we had Breakfast with Characters without reservations needed.

Ok, no breakfast, but 2 meets are available. You can pick both Princesses and Anna and Elsa, and they are offered on the 2 sea days.

I picked both for the second sea day.

So I took my new Dooney/DVC bag out for her first outing yesterday! Bigger than I thought, which makes me happy!

I did not get this - thanks so much for sharing.

Sorry, didn't see Mathmagicland's post about the discount show tickets til just now. If anyone hears of a deal on the Lion King pre or post cruise let me know.

thanks
HI Poison Ivy - I came across this on the Lion King musical website yesterday - looks like they have a lottery for Lion King tickets. If selected, you have an hour to pay for the tickets. The lottery tickets are only $30, which is a great price for those willing to not know until day of if they can get tickets. Works via online entry and email notifications back.

Is there a ticket lottery for The Lion King?

Yes. For more information on how to enter, please

***********

Now is the time to join the circle of life at THE LION KING, Broadway’s Award-Winning Best Musical!

Lottery entries for each performance will be accepted starting once the prior day’s performance begins and continue up until 9am on the day of the performance. At that time, the lottery for that performance will be closed.

A limited number of tickets will be sold to winners of the official digital lottery. Click “Enter Now” below for the performance you want to attend and fill out the entry form. After the lottery closes, you will be notified via email within minutes as to whether you won or not.

Winners, claim your seats. If you are selected as a winner, you have 60 minutes to pay for your tickets via credit card. Seat locations are assigned based on availability and at the discretion of the Box Office. They cannot be transferred to other people or performances. Once you’ve paid, you’ll need to use a government-issued ID in order to pick up your tickets.

Interesting!

There is also a lottery for Aladdin - same parameters as Lion King, and tickets there are also $30. for those who cannot stay for the DVC showing after the cruise. You could enter both to double your chances, & then pick the one you'd like to see the most. :)

Wow, that's the one I want to see more! (I've already seen TLK on Broadway)!

Either would be a great bargain!
