So can you get the 10% discount even if paying with DVC points? I did not know that...
I know you all will have a blast! And I can't wait to hear/read all of the stories and experiences. But for now I guess I will just have to live vicariously through all of you...so I am counting on extensive detailed trip reports!! lol
Well we have some disappointing news...atleast for us lol. We had to cancel our trip due to several different issues, the main one being work schedules. So I am really disappointed that I won't be able to see my old friends that I met on my first cruise...and I won't be able to meet my new friends that I have met on this thread.

Eva... Dh and I are booked for the 5 day special next Sept. There is already a therad started... looka likw a great group. And a bonus... there is going to be a party in the Roy O suite!!!

I've eyed up that 5 night special cruise many times as it sounds sooo cool but, upon reflection, I'm not sure it'd work with our DS's school commitments - it's very close to the start of term and he'll be at an important stage. Plus we're going on the NYE 7 night W Caribbean in December... It's just a case of so many cruises, too little time!
The big news from my house this Sunday morning is that I've lost my voice!!! This has never happened to me before and all I can do is sqeak intermittently and/or whisper - very strange...
Had some honey and lemon tea and I'm back in business tho' I think my family are a little disappointed the mouth wasn't out of action for longer - whatever, guys!!! Wish I'd got the chance to try some of the alternative remedies tho'...

Is anyone booking a future cruise while onboard? We will book for next fall and maybe do the Eastern since we haven't done that one yet.

Just like people here in the south say "yall" MikeWe are going with definate intentions of booking another cruise for next year. probably in the fall. Probably eastern caribbean. My Michelle and I figure the baby should be old enough to travel and fairly easy to take care of on the boat.
I've heard they offer some pretty good incentives to re-book while aboard. Does anyone know if this is true.

We will definitely be rebooking for next year but haven't decided on the Eastern or 5 night. I guess I should run it by dh and see which HE would like to do.
We traveled last year when dd was 5 months old and it was easy! Next year our baby will be the same age as yours so they will have a buddy in the nursery to play with.
When we rebooked onboard last year we got a 10% discount plus a $200 ship board credit. Once we got home we transfered it to DU and got an additional $100 credit. Very nice!
