...I'm getting nervous for tomarrow. Mostly because I don't have a clue as to what to say. I have NO idea what they are wanting me to 'talk' about. :confused3 Reading back through the e-mails from the CF Foundation they'll be calling me early tomarrow to 'go over' things. So I guess at that time I'll be notifyed as to what I'll be talking about. :confused3

Good luck, Sandi! :thumbsup2 I'm sure you'll do fine...

Those of you going after the cruise for the Food and Wine Festival, did you sit on hold to make reservations for any of the events today too? I was on hold for 30 minutes and watching the F&W thread as people were announcing their hold times and what was selling out. After 30 minutes on hold I was a bit worried that I wouldn't get the Food and Wine Pairing I wanted. But it was still available. This year they have a no refund policy. Glad I just wanted to make a reservation for a food and wine pairing in Italy. That is just $45 each. Some people are making reservations for events that cost over $300 a person. YIKES!

Yawn... :surfweb:

Bored at work. :music:

I have calculated :teacher: I have been to 30 states. This does not
count airport connections.

Who has got me beat??? :car: :boat: :moped:

Haven't been to that many Chris. Been to several foreign countries on the government's dime though. Japan. Vietnam, Germany, Holland, Switzerland.

My daughter Stacey and grand daughter are in Boston, Ma. They are on vacation and were involved in an accident. Both of them are fine, can't say the same for the car. Mike

Ooooh. Sorry to hear about accident. Glad to hear they are all ok.

What kind of car? Always interested in safe cars.
Can't say my G6 convertible is a safe car.

Scary.

Marsha, I'm so sorry to hear about your mother. Please know that we are praying for you and your mother and sending lots of positive energy your way.

Stacy & family

Mike, I'm glad to hear that your daughter and granddaughter are okay after the accident. There are angels watching over them:angel:

OK, this is definitely a game for people that are trying to pass the time. But I have visited 30 states also. I thought that was pretty funny that it is the same number as FatCat's. And have probably flown through about 10 more. Plus we lived in Germany and have visited a number of the western European countries; France, Germany, Austria, etc. Plus I have been to Canada a couple of times. That is boring! :bored:

Mike, I am so glad to hear that everyone is safe and sound.

Sandi,

I think what you're doing is INCREDIBLE and I know that Sydney, Alexis and Jesse are extremely proud of you! You'll probably have sailed through your speech and hopefully touched the hearts and minds of your audience by the time you read this. You are proof that ONE VOICE can make a difference! Way to go Mojito Mama!:thumbsup2

Just wanted to add my own :welcome: to all of our new friends and fellow cruisers who have joined our group recently! I have been away from the boards and have spent much of the morning catching up on all the posts:surfweb:.

Also, welcome back from your fab vacation Karen!

DD Kaylee just turned 10 yesterday and we had a luau themed pool party with 7 other girls. The in laws also came into town from Atlanta for her bday. So it has been busy here!

Now it's time to get working on the next event, the High School Musical 2 Premiere Party we're hosting on Aug 17! I really hope that they do the HSM dance party on the cruise too! It will definitely be the highlight of Kaylee's cruise! We're going to spend the day at MGM Studios the Friday before the cruise because Kaylee really wants to see the HSM "Pep Rally" that they have there. :cheer2:

Hope everyone is staying cool.....I'm ready for fall!!!!

Okay, I'll bite....

I've only been to 13 states, not counting drive throughs or layovers. Abroad I've been to Australia, Germany, Mexico, and of course cruise destinations: Puerto Rico, Bahamas, St. Thomas, St. Martin and Anguilla.

I've got to get off this computer now!
:hourglass

Well hope to add 1 state to my tally when DCL announces an Alaskan Voyage.
pirate:

Mike,

Tennesee is not in my 30 count. My neighbors are moving there so I hope to add it. I have not done the IL to FL drive yet but if I have an excuse to visit my friends I am going to entertain it. Also I have a goal to visit all 50 states before I die.

I have revised my list of things to do before I die because many of them are not legal now that I am married.
