I think I got my sailing pack with luggage tags about 2 weeks out.

Thanks,

That's great. Can't pack without luggage tags.. That's what I heard and I am sticking with it. :thumbsup2

Yep...I think it's anywhere from 1-3 weeks before. I'm hoping for 3 weeks before...Just because I want them NOW.

You can also keep an eye on the general DCL fourm...and watch for other people in the cruises before ours to say they got their documents. When you see those who sail just prior to our dates you'll know it's getting close. :cool1: There use to be people on there all the time saying their documents arrived....but either I haven't been looking for those sort of posts or there just hasn't been as many as there use to be. ???

If you booked direct with disney, or dreams, the documents come directly to your home. If you with through a travel agent, they first go to the agent and then the agent sends them to you. For those who have cruised before, you are in for a surprise as to the thickness of your tickets and other document package. The online check in has eliminated a lot of that stuff. Just be sure to print out the cruise contract from the online checkin and take it with you to the terminal.

There is no longer any need to stand in a long line to board, as they give you a group boarding number as you go into the terminal. Mike

Okay everyone....I've got a bit of news I've just GOT to share....

I wrote my very first letter to our senator this past week reguarding health care for children. AND she read it. Not only did she read it...but she liked it :goodvibes Her office called me to see if it would be okay for the Senator to read MY letter in Congress. They also wanted a photo of Sydney to display while she read the letter.:yay: The very next day her office called again...to tell me the Senator was getting ready to take the floor and read MY letter to the Senate....and that she was LIVE on C-SPAN. I can't even begin to tell you how it was watching her read my letter on the Senate floor in Washington DC under a HUGE blown up photo of Sydney. All and all I'm happy my letter may have made a diffrence...but at the moment I'm not sure what I've gotten myself into....because now we're all going over to Seattle on Monday to be a guest speaker in a press confernce with two State senators. I for one know I am NOT a great public speaker....:sad2:

Anywho....LESSON learned. Writing a letter CAN make a diffrence.

CONGRATS !!!!
How wonderful for you to take up a cause like health care for children, since you have a vested intrest.
Sometimes our goverment needs to know that "we the people" have strugles with life. Our children are our greatest intrest and profit for our country.
You'll do a wonderful job speaking. Just speak from your heart and the public will know your passion for Sydney's care and for the children.
CONGRATS again!!!

I was promised to get all 3 packs together. If not... I'll be missing our last week of docs.:sad2:

So Im hoping for them in the next 2 or 3 weeks. I have to do a pre-run for packing and weighing in of luggage.
Our last cruise... we had to buy another piece of luggage on the ship! THEN pay extra because it was over weight!!!:rotfl2:

Karen...WELCOME home :goodvibes

I'm getting nervous for tomarrow. Mostly because I don't have a clue as to what to say. I have NO idea what they are wanting me to 'talk' about. :confused3 Reading back through the e-mails from the CF Foundation they'll be calling me early tomarrow to 'go over' things. So I guess at that time I'll be notifyed as to what I'll be talking about. :confused3

Marsha, our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Mike

Just got off the phone with Marsha, she is worried about not getting the website updated. I told her not to worry that everyone understands, and being with her family is more important than any website. She said to tell everyone hello and asks for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Mike
