September 2011 - We are going to Disney World {THIS MONTH}! (Third Thread)

OMG you guys have been busy!!! I haven't been on in awhile and I come back to find a new (3rd) thread and already 15 pages!! I really wanna catch up on DIS, but I'm in vacation freak-out mode because we leave on Wednesday and still soooo much to get done!! Happy and safe travels to all who are starting their trips!!

5 days to go!!!

Today is a great Friday. Probably one of the greatest Fridays ever! Today is DH's last day of work for SIXTEEN {16} DAYS!!!!!!!

WOOOOOHOO!!! What a great feeling!

Wow, you can really feel the excitement radiating out from this thread! It feels to me like we waited for SO long for our trips to be here and now OMG HERE IT IS!! AAAGH!!

15 days left and I feel like I have a lot to do--the suitcases are all 3/4 of the way packed and I'm gathering last minute things, printing out my ADR confirmations etc. I need to get things to decorate the window, preorder my photopass CD and cancel our carriage ride at POR since I think we'll be too rushed that night. Whew!

Oh and I also loved that youtube video and it made me cry! That grandpa singing Small World and the little girl's interactions with Belle and the Beast really did it for me.

I've been watching Disney movies at night while I DIS and do my stuff and tonight it's Fantasia so I'll probably be asleep in about 20 mins

Count me in - long weekend trip with DS10(turning 11 on our trip), DSis and DNiece(12) - 9/28-10/3. Staying at the Poly CL

Doesn't look like we match up with anyone else's ADRs, but still excited, and hope to meet some fellow Disers (this will be my 10th trip, and never came across a LGMH yet )

I loved the YouTube video! I don't even know this family, but they're so flipping cute, every last one of them! I love his narration at DHS's rope drop! It's three weeks today, and my little Pooh is moving across my ticker fast!

Thanks so much for the welcome! I will definitely stick around to chat - the trip is a surprise for my son, and my sister is one of those "you take care of all the details - I don't want to be bothered until we get there!" kind of people. May already be too late... started getting a scracthy throat just hoping its more psychosematic (I can't spell it) than actually being sick. I will however try to get some extra Vitamin C going.... rest is good, but Working 3rd shift they are few and far between.... ps my name is also Michelle!!

Somedays you have to get up just to check your ticker!

I made a run to Walgreens this am and while they are still putting out the Halloween stuff, I found the cutest tiny talking plush. It is a vampire Mickey and says 3 things. (only $2.99) AND a plastic tube with 3 halloween candy rings, vampire Mickey, witch Minnie and Mickey ears pumpkin (only 99 cents).
Also, the cutest paper treat sacks with vampire Mickey trick-or-treating (25 cents).

It'll be a busy day for everyone, so much to do.....

Interesting weather last night. came up all of a suddenly it became windy lots of lightning. Saw this cloud formation in the next town over. we outside to investigate several of my neighbors were outside looking at it as well. We swear it was a funnell cloud. See for youself.

5 DAY BANANA DANCE

I think I got most of my last minute stuff done yesterday. Got first aid kit, printed up our paperwork, finalized the lanyards, and got my eyebrows waxed (that was maybe the most important, ).

I still need to get a mani/pedi, clean the house up, and do a last load of laundry. I am gonna do the mani/pedi last so I don't ruin em with bleach and cleaning fluid, that would be tragic!!!!

Not sure how I have missed this thread, but I an glad I found it. I have a lot of catching up to do.

My good friend, oldest sister, and myself will be at POFQ Sept 16-20. Girls only trip. No kids, no husbands. We are so excited about going. First stay for me at the POFQ, but I have been reading up on it and it sounds like it will be great for us.
