Are you booked under the kids free promo know? That is what we are under.

Yes I am booked under kids(1 kid--)free promo. Kinda stinks my 11 yr old is now an adult, especially paying for dining cause she doesn't eat much so paying $30+ for some meals stinks.

I will spend the next 5 months obsessing over DD's outfits for each day of our trip. She must have the cutest customs ever created, with matching jewelry and bows, and shoes! Every outfit has to be accessorized to the max. :rotfl:

We plan something special for every ADR, every park, every day. I can't help myself with obsessive planning!! :sad2:

SO FUN! I will be travelling with 2 teenage boys and a DH, not too much outfit planning there ;) In my other life I got to play with bows and lace and sparkles:cutie:

After a slow start this am, you guys sure made it up!;)

We used Photopass in 2007--didn't buy the CD but made and ordered a scrapbook, it's my favorite souvenier from that vacation and we still read it like a storybook some times.

Wish me luck, I have my ADR's in the morning!:banana:
Good luck! :thumbsup2

Found it now! PL looks like a lot of fun!

Glad you found it!

The kids are so excited for PL! :yay: They have done BBB a few times already, so they're looking forward to something new and my little one is Pirate crazy anyway, thanks to Izzy and Jake :)

I was going to do a custom pirate minnie T but I really liked the look of this costume!

Please add me to the list. We'll be there Sept. 17 thru 25, staying at All-Start Music. We're celebrating my cousin's college graduation, my daughter's 5th grade graduation, and my cousin's daughter turning 5. We're all excited and can't wait until September:yay:

Just wanted to share a pic of the costume I'm getting for both DDs for PL :

Here is a pic of a little girl wearing the costume(the pink and black one) from the PL thread

Here is another pic:

It's more pink than pirate but my girls loved the costume and I can't wait for them to wear them in September :yay:

My replacement costume is on its way :cool1:, now I need to find a size small for my 4 year old.

Oh, very cute!!

We love photopass, and preorder the CD every year. I don't know if we would if my girls weren't so into the characters, though. With preordering we get it for $99, then also find codes for free shipping.

Good luck with your ADRs!

FYI: DCL doesn't use the Photopass system, but maybe you were talking about using it at the parks before/after your cruise?! I guess I could be wrong, if it's a new thing they started since our last DCL cruise 02/09.
Yes, we will be at WDW as well, but I was expecting to use it for the cruise. I thought I had read about the Dream having Photopass, but I should make sure before I buy! Thanks for the heads up!

Cute! Did you buy your costumes from buycostumes? How were the costumes?

The pink and black one is very soft and not itchy at all which is a big plus because my two will not wear anything scratchy :)

Actually NO, I got them after Halloween(the yr before my cruise) at Target on clearance. Couldn't pass them up!

Good morning, fellow September travelers! I made my ADR's! :cool1:
We got everything we wanted, except the Fantasmic package is not open yet so I booked a backup res. at Sci-Fi.

I could use some opinion on my schedule (although I probably should have asked for it before I made my ADR's! :rotfl:

Some notes about us--we are early risers and never had a problem making it to the parks for RD the last time we were there. We tend to eat a light breakfast in the room, early CS lunch to beat the rush, early dinner and early night. Last trip we did not take mid-day breaks, just let DD sleep in the stroller while we looked around or found a shady place to rest. Not sure this time, though since DD6 won't have access to a stroller. We'll have to play it by ear. If we don't go back to the hotel, we'll try to find indoor, AC attractions for the afternoon. We are also not roller-coaster people, so many of the must-do attractions are must-don't for us! :rotfl2: DD6 is a little braver than we are, though, so we may tough it out on the tamer rides for her sake--like Soarin', Test Track, BTMRR.

9/29 (Thurs) arrive mid morning, hang at hotel and relax, possibly go to AK to see the animals for a few hours if we feel like it. 5:40 ADR for Boma. I am hoping we can stay for storytelling around the fire.

9/30 (Fri) 4:45 ADR for Coral Reef. Even though EasyWDW doesn't recommend Epcot today due to the opening of F&W, it's the only other day we can fit it in (So we have 2 days at Epcot). We will be there for RD and hopefully get quite a bit done before crowds get heavy later in the day.

10/1 (Sat) 4:40 ADR for Tusker House. Hopefully be at AK early.

10/2 (Sun) 5:25 ADR for Sci-Fi. This is another time we are going against recommendations, because the kids will really enjoy the Disney Junior dance party they do with EMH. I am really hoping we don't regret this. Still unsure if we will do Fantasmic. Since we will be staying later, we probably won't get there at RD this day, just take the morning slow.

10/3 (Mon) 5:15 ADR for Cape May Clambake. Slow morning, do WS when it opens, walk over to BC for dinner reservations.

10/4 (Tues) 5:00 ADR for T-Rex. Our Off day! Laze around the pool, DTD for shopping and dinner.

10/5 (Wed) 8am breakfast ADR for H&V. Hopefully be done early enough to be at the head of the crowds rushing to TSM. Has anyone done the early breakfast at H&V? I'm not sure the timing will work. :scared1: Dinner ADR at Chef Mickey's for 5:30, then we'll take the monorail back to MK to get back to CBR. Now that I'm looking at this, though, is two Character meals too much for one day?

10/6 (Thurs) DD6 turns 7! 5:15 ADR at CRT. Another day we are going against recommendations, b/c we had such a great time at AM EMH last time. We got to ride every ride in Fantasyland before the park even opened! And DD got to play with Daisy and Donald and a princess (to this day I don't know which one she was supposed to be, as her outfit didn't match any of them!) We plan on doing Tom Sawyer's island in the afternoon, especially if the crowds get heavy.

10/7 (Fri) MNSSHP! 4:45 ADR for Crystal Palace. Originally we were going to do this on 10/6, but def didn't think we'd be up for AM EMH and MNSSHP on the same day. Lazy morning, head to the park at 4 for the party.

10/8 (Sat) Leaving. :guilty: Don't know when, b/c I can't book airfare since we don't know where we will be. We are trying to relocate, and it depends on when/where I get a job. Grrr.

TIA for any opinions/suggestions!

:cheer2: To everyone making their ADRs

No, not to my knowledge. All I've heard is that they rearranged Shutters (the photo shop on the ship) so that instead of printing out every single photo they take and randomly posting them on the wall for you to find, they are now using a computerized system and you will be able to find them all in one folder for your family. I think they are using the "faces" technology like Macintosh iPhoto offers, to "group" people together....starting with your "welcome aboard" photo that gets taken of each family when they are boarding. Shutters offers their own photo packages, but has never offered a CD.....at least not on my half dozen cruises. :upsidedow

Very good to know! Thanks for the information. Looks like I won't be purchasing a CD this year either! :)

Congrats! Sounds like you have it pretty well thought out! I haven't done the early breakfast at H&V yet, but have it booked for this trip hoping to get right over to TSM as well! Sounds like I'll be there before you (we are going the week of Labor Day) so I'll let you know how it worked out! :cool1:

What day do you sail on the Dream? We sail Sept. 8th! If I hear anything different about the photos on the ship, I'll let ya know. And if you get any concrete info let me know too, if you don't mind! ;)
