Add me in. September 10-14 ASMu short cheap trip. We are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary without the kids. Thank God. So looking forward to doing Discovery Cove for the 1st time

DS had to be forcefully removed. I'm really hoping for a much less traumatic birth experience this time.

So I need some advice. I'd love to do MNSSHP this year, but I'm not sure how it's going to work out with the little one. Last time we didn't leave the park until after 11. I doubt she will be able to go that late without being very cranky, but I'd hate for DS to miss out.

I'll have a 12 month old at MNSSHP.. I am hoping he just sleeps in the stroller!

Just booked my airfare  Southwest has opened up September!!!! I updated my facebook status that I had just booked my airfare and some one asked where I was going........france, italy, mexico, japan, england, around the world (if you just believe) :lovestruc

Hopefully you and I can meet up at somepoint. I haven't gotten our schedule under control yet. LOL And if Fd comes out for October are dates will just be the next week which I think will still overlap your trip.

Sounds like everyone is busy busy planning! I have a list of a few different places to eat, we are big on character breakfasts so far we would like to do;

Chef Mickeys
Tusker house
Crystal Palace
O'hana
1900 Park Fare

The only 2 we haven't done already is O'hana and 1900 Park Fare, the others we loved so much we are really looking forward to doing again!

This has been quite the week for me and my family, on Monday I found out my tumour (which we found a few months ago, and has since been removed) was and is cancer free! A huge relief, so very very grateful!! My hubby asked what I wanted to do to celebrate, I said I wanted to wait and go for a really special dinner while in WDW! Now I need to pick somewhere, anyone have any suggestions on a resturant?

This is going to be such a wonderful trip for are family as we are already celebratin all 3 of are birthdays, and now to celebrate being healthy, happy and being together!

Sorry this post is so long, I got carried away! haha

Wow! Congrats on the news! That is huge!!!

Will it just be DH and you for the special dinner? I've always wanted to eat at California Grill, but I won't until we either have a babysitter or older kids.

We also have contemplated Yachtsman Steakhouse. We chose Le Cellier over that last year and were disappointed.

By the way, we loved 1900 Park Fare for breakfast! We enjoyed the buffet and the characters were great. It wasn't too busy when we went so we didn't feel rushed. My favorite memory of that breakfast was watching the Mad Hatter trying to scoot around Winnie the Pooh and failing. Finally, he just screamed out "Move it, Fatty!" so he could get by. We laughed so stinking hard!

So glad your tumor was benign! I know what a relief it is. I had an almost 10lb tumor removed from my abdomen in October after it was missed on an ultrasound in March. Its amazing how much bettter I feel now and how long it was making me feel like junk!

Hi,

How fun! Would you like me to add where you are staying? I have you added to the first page. :woohoo:

I would imagine soon, probably when the September hours come out. I'm hoping within 2 or so weeks, fingers crossed!

I'll have a 12 month old at MNSSHP.. I am hoping he just sleeps in the stroller!

That's what I'm hoping for too! I don't mind doing the rides earlier in the evening and then trick or treating while she's asleep. That would actually be perfect. If only she'd cooperate lol. Or even if I could wear her in her wrap while she sleeps that's even better! Then I can have more flexibility with DS and what he wants to do.

I would love to see everyone's ADR's!!!:cool1: It's my favourite part, i think:thumbsup2 Do most of you take advantage of EMH or avoid them? I always find them very busy but a friend of mine seems to think that if you are there the very last hour they quiet down???:confused3

We avoid the EMH...we've done the first hour before and then have left to go to another park...that has worked for us in the past. :thumbsup2

Since we are talking ADRs....here is what I'm thinking...

Ohana (breakfast)-new one for us
Chef Mickey's (dinner)
Garden Grill (dinner)-also new
Hollywood and Vine (breakfast)-also new
Crystal Palace (lunch)
Liberty Tree Tavern (dinner)-new
1900 Park Fare (dinner)
Cinderella's Royal Table (breakfast)-new for us

Anyone else have ADR plans?:surfweb:

We are for sure doing:

Kona Cafe breakfast(probably more than once)
Kona Cafe dinner
Ohana breakfast
Ohana dinner (DS wants to do it twice!)
CRT breakfast
Crystal Palace dinner or breakfast haven't decided
LTT lunch
Le Cellier dinner
Chef Mickey breakfast

Others are still up in the air. We have the DDP booked but I'm not sure if we should keep it. Of those I would only use it for 4 and pay the rest OOP. Seems like we may benefit more from a TIW card. :confused3

I get very torn on the EMH... I actually think I like the early morning ones a lot better than the evening ones, especially @ the MK. I feel like we can hop back and do Splash Mountain and BTMRR pretty easily, and then work out way towards Fantasy Land. We used to head right for Tomorrowland (and sometimes still do), but the more years we go, the more I learn what's best to do. Some will even say to head directly for Fantasyland during morning EMH, as this seems to be the busiest area of the afternoon. Evening just seems crazy, and crazy + crowds = an unhappy family (at least for us). Plus, I hate the mad rush for the buses in the evenings. :)

Here are our tentative plans for ADRs (we'll be on the DDP)

Sit downs:
Ohana
Les Chef Des France (new one for us!)
Cape May (1 breakfast and 1 dinner)
Tony's (another new one for us)
1900 Park Fare (breakfast)
WCC
Princess Storybook Breakfast in Noway (another new one!)

Counter Services usually include:
Cosmic Rays
Sunshine Seasons (one of the best CS if you ask me)
Flame Tree (maybe... depends on how long we stay @ AK)
Blizzard Beach CS (can't remember the name of it offhand)
Pizza Planet (maybe... not really impressed with ANY of the CS @ HWS)
Wolfgang Puck Express @ DTD
Maybe going to try Columbia Harbour House or some other new CS

204 days can't go by soon enough!!!

We normally avoid EMH as much as possible. But with the heat I wouldn't be opposed to going to a few this time!

Two weeks from this Sunday and I can make ADR's!!!! :cool1:

Going to book:

Marrakesh
LeCellier
Chef Mickey's
Kona breakfast -- maybe 2X
Ohana
Shutters
Sci-Fi
Turf Club

CS:
CBR food court
Captain Cooks
POR food court
Pollo Campero
La Cantina
Casey's Corner
Pecos Bills

That's what I'm thinking so far! :goodvibes

Oh man all this Disney food talk is just torture for a pregnant lady! I'm drooling thinking of a chicken wrap and cheese fries from Pecos Bills and some delicious ANYTHING from Kona.
