September 2011 - The Planning Has Started!!!

See, here is where I will sound selfish. I love WDW for ME! Yes, my kids happiness is priceless but I LOVE it for ME!!!!

Oh, same here! Without a doubt That's why I have to tell my son that Poly is "all booked up" for our dates so we can stay GF CL I'm still taking him!

I checked AirTran again today and the price went up!!

What do I do? Will they go up again? Stay the same or go down???

I will say that usually airfare starts to have deals around 4 months out. I have never gotten a good deal more than 5 months out but YMMV.

I am SO BEYOND excited for this trip!! Not only does it mean my husband will be back from his deployment, but we get to leave reality behind and just be a family having fun!!

I 'think' I have the ADRs figured out.... just have to go over to the Restaurant board and ask a few questions...... we are going at the EXACT same time we went in 2009 how crazy is that?!?!?

We love BRG and the BW! Such a fun area. I don't have any BW time planned for this trip since we spent every night on the BW on the last trip, but I have been wondering lately if we will miss it this trip.

I'm sure we will be fine, we will be over at CBR and then the Poly enjoying lots of tropical atmosphere.

We haven't eaten at BW since Spoodles......where would you recommend??? I am not a seafood lover. It's close to HS isn't it...maybe we could go there rather than SCI_FI...i really am not sure about that.

to the new September travelers!

I just made my last ADR, I got everything we wanted.

I checked airfare for our trip and its up to $102 each way with Airtran. Yikes! I found it about a month ago for $597 round trip so I guess if I was going to buy it I should have done it then. Looks like we are driving for sure! I'm actually excited about it since then we can stop at Honeymoon Island State Park on the way home, I love that beach.

Headed to the disney store today to reserve Tangled and put some money on my disney gift card for our onsite dining. I am nowhere near paid off, but every little bit makes me feel better.

I'm sure that is why the flights have gone up. It isn't going to get any better. If you can book your flights now, I would.

BUT I always over pack!! we have a Villa so we will be able to wash clothes so we don't 'really' need to take that much.......

You think one outfit a day + one extra is enough?? they're all little so messes are probable.....
and since we're going Sept. 6-11 its probably going to be HOT too, just like last time.....

Only two more weeks till we can make ADRs!!!!

I too have been looking at clothes for Disney. So much fun! If you have a washing machine in your room then 2 outfits per day should be plenty. If you do end up using a 3rd outfit 1 day then you can always wash it.

I already know that we will have to completely re-shop for the girls for September. I am getting ready to pack for our cruise in just over a month and most of their clothes will be too small by THIS summer. I'm just happy to get another trip out of them now.

My oldest DD has already said she wants to be Minnie Mouse for Halloween next year, so we'll have to purchase that before we go. My youngest is now getting to the age where she can fit into her older sister's old Halloween costumes, so I'll just use those.

We have the following costumes from the older one, including shoes: Belle, Jasmine, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Alice, Tink, and Snow White. The Belle and Jasmine ones are the smallest, so I'm thinking little DD will be Belle this year.

My girls always say they want to wear princess dresses to the parks, but then we get there and they don't wear them..... SO this year we are getting Princess shirts and skirts for them....... I'm thinking we're mostly going to be in Tanks and skirts and Ts and shorts anyways.... its so hot in Sept.

What is the Sunrise Safari?

I've never done it, but it's offered for AKL club level guests. You meet at the front of AKL and they bus you over to AK. Then, you go on the safari, but it's at a slower pace and they actually stop and let you take pictures. After that, you have breakfast at a buffet at Pizzafari.

It sounds so stinking cool and that would be the only reason I would want to do club level at AKL. We've stayed at AKL twice, but never club level.

I think it's just over $60 for adults and $30-ish maybe for kids.

Hi everybody! I am so excited to say that we will be going Sept. 9-18!! We have BLT booked! I am guilty to say that I spent income tax return already (Homeschooling the girls is not cheap!) but I have a plan...I will save tickets, quick dining and train before its time. Even if I have to go to the pawn shop for a few things!! And there is craigslist, I told you I have a plan. Plus, I will be watching my dear friend's DD for extra cash. There I said it I feel sooo much better now Oh and the heat/air has not been turned on in a week
So it will be my husband, son, two daughters and me!! Happy planning everyone!
