OK so here are the things I am gonna TRY and make. Not sure how long all this will take but there ya have it...now cros your fingers:laughing:
Thanks for sharing your plans and patterns!

I don't have a sewing machine and was considering putting a simple outfit together as well. However, I had this thought that I could probably do the initial legwork and then take the rest to a seamstress at our local dry cleaner or tailor. They are usually very reasonable and it may save me the hassle of trying it on my own! I figure if I buy all the fabric, measure them to my girls, and pin them accordingly, they could take it from there and complete it on a sewing machine. I'm going to have to see what's best for my time and money!

We were very busy at the 180 mark with DD1's 1st Birthday and I was not able to share our ADR's.
9/28 Magic Kingdom

That's our Magic Kingdom day too :goodvibes. When you make a reservation at the barber shop do you need a credit card?

I love the second photo of your daughter with that big grin/laugh! She looks like she's having such a great time! Cute!

I agree! So cute! princess:

LOVE this Dress!

OK these two pictures make me soooo excited! :yay::cheer2:
I can't wait to show these to DH! Thanks for sharing!

Adorable!

KellyWasHere - love that smile, so cute. Since dd wasn't a baby did she still get the first haircut ears?

I was thinking of doing this for Clara since her siblings are all doing PL but since she is only 2 she can't. She's never had a haircut and her hair is getting long so I am sure she will need a hair cut by then.

Does anyone know if you can use buildabear coupons/reward bucks at build-a-dino?

Yes, we still got the first haircut ears, but they were out of them so they mailed them to us about 2 months after our vacation. I think you could be 50 years old and as long as you buy the first haircut package, they'll give them to you.

I think that the barbershop is the best value in the parks. Both my DD's got their haircut, my oldest got gel and pixiedust, and my youngest just the pixie dust and the 1st haircut package, all for just over $40 with tax. (For oldest, $15 for haircut, $5 for gel, for youngest, $18 for first haircut package.) Fantastic deal, IMO.

I too am loving all the adorable 1st haircut pics! I would do this with Alice but I don't think there's any way she'll last til Sept. without getting a haircut. It's growing pretty quick now and I don't want it to be too long! I'm probably in the minority here but she is not a girly girl and doesn't really like bows & pigtails too much so short hair will save my sanity.

My girls, I don't know if they're girly girls or not, but do not like having their hair pulled up or clipped or anything. I'm sure I could make them do it but it's a battle I'm not interested in fighting. :cutie::laughing:

You could get your DD's haircut, then buy the package at WDW and it'll be her first [Disney] haircut!!

ForTheLoveOfDCL, I too love those patterns and can't wait to see the finished product!!

Oh, one more thing about the barbershop, you can pay with a credit card, but they can only accept cash tips! I was so glad I read this before we left because we never carry cash, and would've been so embarassed to not be able to tip.

The haircut is a great idea for your daughter! Especially since she can't do PL yet.

OK so here are the things I am gonna TRY and make. The first is the cris cros top pattern

All the fabrics and patterns you chose look great! How exciting! Can't wait to see it all put together! :cool1:

Oh, that will be so fun!! I keep resisting the urge to stockpile fabrics until I learn to sew......but I always see so many I like!! Good choices! ;) I cannot wait to see the finished products!!

Oh my word!! LOL! Was that stuff hard to shampoo out? Mikella would love this! :thumbsup2 They are adorable!!!

I found it extremely hard to get out. They spray the hair with hairspray first, put the pixie dust in, then respray. I took a week's worth of washes to get it all out (but we don't wash her hair everyday). For my youngest, they just put in a little, so that came out the next day pretty easy.

Since she doesn't have long hair, the lady just painted thin strips in (my daughter saw a boy before her getting a blue mohawk and she loves blue, so she was begging us to get blue for her hair. The lady talked her into putting pink in there as well).

I shudder looking at this picture. It really was a PITA to get out. But she loved it, so it was worth it.

That felt board is the bomb diggity! :worship: I don't know if I would have the patience for it, but it's awesome!

All the adorable outfits and cutie patootie girls are making my uterus hurt! :sad2: I guess I will have to wait 20 years for grandbabies. :rotfl2:
at least it better be 20 years. :rotfl2: But maybe in the meantime I should learn how to sew.

The prices and pics etc of the barbershop, outstanding. This might be something to thing about doing for dd on MNSSHP night....than I don't have to do her hair. ;)

I make lists of my lists :rotfl: I have a list of listed items. Like I will list on the master list "makeup" and then have a list of makeup to pack. Then I'll list "Danimal's clothes" and have a separate list for that. It's a sickness

I am loving all your pics. It is nice putting faces with Dis names. Oh Today I got a box from Disney. Order some jammies for xmas...they were clearance. Also got a black messenger bag with mickey on it and something else for a friend but I can't say cause she is lurking on DIS and don't want her to know. I love when Disney boxes come to my door.

Hmm...Wonder who you could mean???:goodvibes
