Absolutely; I'm still disappointed that I didn't get to meet you at the beach! Did you guys have great weather, at least? It was pretty decent here that week, so I was thinking good thoughts for you!

It was really warm there. Mainly in the high 70's but that was just fine for us. We came home to weather in the 50's, so 70's was .

I am still debating if I am dressing up for MNSSHP. My kids are and I do think it would be fun. I just dont know what I would be. Halloween is my favorite "Holiday" and I love dressing up parties, so I am sure I will think of something.....maybe

A meet at the MNSSHP parade sounds fun....gotta save our spot on the curb so why not meet and chat!! =)) We always hit the 10pm parade cause it isn't as crazy as 8pm one. Plus we hit rides or characters while people head to 8pm parade.

Been a busy weekend. Cedar Point has opened, which means time for me to make some money!!!! MNSSHP money!!! Hope you all had a great weekend. The next month will be crazy here. A lot of recitals...got alot of dancers in our family. Then beginning of June is my DD's recital. Then hope to sew in June!!

A meet at the MNSSHP parade sounds fun....gotta save our spot on the curb so why not meet and chat!! =)) We always hit the 10pm parade cause it isn't as crazy as 8pm one. Plus we hit rides or characters while people head to 8pm parade.

Been a busy weekend. Cedar Point has opened, which means time for me to make some money!!!! MNSSHP money!!! Hope you all had a great weekend. The next month will be crazy here. A lot of recitals...got alot of dancers in our family. Then beginning of June is my DD's recital. Then hope to sew in June!!

I here you on the dance thing. Riley's recital is Next weekend. But this week is so crazy busy. I need a haircut like asap so that is happening tonight. Riley has dance rehersal's this week and she has a dr's appointment. Then I didn't do groceries last night so that needs to be tommorow night.

Then to top if off my girls saw pics of the ASMO when I was pritning the QSDP locations and they want to stay there. We would have to do a prefered room since that is all there is for my dates. But I figured we could use the ASMU pool for the movies at night. So it may be worht the extra cost. I need to do some research on the ASMO and see what the kiddie area looks like. There rooms are getting refurbed now so that wouldn't be a issue. We stayed here a while back but I can't remeber it all that well. It was before kids.

Well just researched the movies. That isn't happening. The kiddie area is so so small. It looks like a round disk with a fountain in the middle. Alot smaller than the one at pop.

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend!

I did a little window shopping for clothes for the girls this weekend. I found the cutest little blue outfit at Strasbourg Children that would be perfect for breakfast at the Castle, but I thought it would make my older dd look a little baby-ish, so I passed on it. It was the perfect blue, linen capris and top with white lace and ribbon accents. I loved it! Oh well. I'll keep looking.

For the life of me I cannot figure out what day to get MNSSHP tickets for? We are doing the QSDP again this year. We just prefered it last year. I'm not sure if we should do the 20th or the 23rd. Seem like alot of people are picking the 20th. To us it don't matter since we don't leave until the 26th.

We do have a TS meal at Tusker house scheduled for the 23rd. I'm not thinking I can switch that. For some reason that one seems hard to get.


Love that my ticker is going down!!!! Tommorow we will be 4 months out and we have paid for everything except MNSSHP.

I do have a breakdown of extra expenses while we are there.
PL for 2 girls 100.00
T-rex dinner 75-100.00 we like to get a adult beverage here so it will probably be on the high end.
Tukser house breakfest 100.00 with tip
2 build a dino's this is a must for my girls 70.00
Tips for Mousekeeping for 10 days around 40.00
Tips for ME 10.00
So far 420.00

We are taking a 1000.00 with us. Last year we spent around 600- 700. My girls will each have a GC for around 125.00 each so that will be plenty dh just buy there t-shirt, autograph book and build a dino. I'm getting some disney charms for my camillia braclet. Plus I always end up getting a sweatshirt.

Plus I'm sure I will end up getting each of the girls something at the parade. Then I will just throw it in my bag for the week.

I have a question for my September peeps!

Okay, so I have $140 in Disney visa reward dollars and although we could spend all that on shopping, we probably won't. The kids have already been brainwashed into 2 special items each and a couple of pins. Since I know the DD is going to head straight for the stuffed animals and DS is going to head straight for something that has wheels on it, I don't really imagine we will need all of that for "stuff".

What else can I use these dollars on? I have heard of people using it to pay for tips at the restaurants (since we have a group of 8 there is an 18% automatic gratuity) so how would that work? Does anyone know?

You can use it almost anywhere's. You can have it applied to your bill at the resort (if you charge things to your room) you can use it at food vendor's, resort CS locations, resort stores or table service loocations. When the waiter/waitress brings you your bill, it will show food amounts ( and 0.00 if on dining plan) and tip amounts. You would just give them your rewards card, with the written in tip and have them charge the card. I believe the only places you can't use it are places not owned by WDW, so like T-rex, Planet hollywood ect.

And don't forgot if you use your DV to purchase items at the stores, many of them offer a 10% discount. In 09 the World of Disney Store in DTD told us, all "Disney" stores would offer us the 10% as long as we used our visa for the purchase. I know this included main st emporium, mouse gears, and the other two twin epcot shops I don't remember the ones in the other 2 parks, sorry

Aw, Michelle, now I'm homesick! Cedar Point is an amusement park, an absolutely fantastic one, and I get a wave of nostalgia just thinking about it! We have Carowinds and Six Flags over Georgia pretty close, but it's not the same as Cedar Point or Six Flags Great America. I say we go ahead and call a meet at MNSSHP, since it looks like a lot of us are going that night! The parade works for us!

Jess.....Cedar Point is the #1 amusement park....for the last 13 yrs. It has tons of roller coaster and I mean awesome ones. Like 16 I think.

Never heard of it. Is it a chain or just one? We have a local amusement park and a 6 flags not far off in Mass., we don't go often.
