(Just to repost, since I posted on the old thread). I'm just so happy to say I saved an additional $200 because we were there just last week as well. Now what are those restaurant choices going to be?

Just checking in! Its been crazy around here lately and I havent had time for the dis! Not complaining though because time is moving which means closer to September! My parents decided to fly in a day early to arrive the same time as DH and myself so now I have to rebook the breakfast we had from a 3 to a 6 and so far no luck I love my mom dearly but I wish she would have decided this last month when I made ADRs since I havent made a single change to them for a whole month! I am so proud of myself for that Now I feel like I'm on a mission checking for this ADR.. I guess that will give me something to do! Oh and btw I feel like I am the only non-crafty person on this thread now!! I keep seeing all the beautiful dresses, the items made for the DCL and Im lucky if I can cut a semi-straight line!

We just upgraded When I originally booked we were hoping for AKL CL, but there were no CL rooms available for that week. I didnt want to change dates-because we want to be there for our 10th wedding Anniversary. We were told to keep trying-well I called back yesterday-and it was available-and it was only like $200.00 more-totally worth it. Now I just need the Passholder rates for September to come out-modify and pay in full.
The IPO contacted me today and we booked all our dining, safari's and dinner shows. We got everything we wanted-and the times we wanted. I'm waiting for my storm cloud-b'cause it can't be this easy. LOL. I cant wait!

Very cool! It's so fun when things work out. I'm really hoping we can stay at AKL next time. What all do you get with club level?

Same here. We have our trip almost paid off (owe about $399) and every reservation was made BBB, ADR's, and car. Just waiting on MNSSHP tkts and free dining. I am still going to call back every week to see if anyone has cancelled their reservations for PL because I know my daughters would love that. Other than that I have nothing to do but sit and wait.....

We are doing Pl on a non MNSSHP night. I don't think they have put the exteneded hours for it yet. The earliest we could get was 1200 am on MNSSHP. That won't work for us. So they are just doing it a regular park day now. My girls are excited for it.

My family will be experiencing our very first trip to WDW September 23 - September 30 this year. VERY EXCITED!!! We are staying at POFQ. Glad to see others do not mind taking children out of school to experience the magic!

I don't LIKE to take my kids out of school, but we have to go when it's cheaper.....especially on the prices of the cruises.....save a TON if you go off-season. I'm sure that's why a lot of people end up doing it. Or they can only book certain times of the year when their job allows them time off.

You'll LOVE your first trip to WDW and be totally HOOKED after this!

We booked our flights! We booked our flights! We got awesome flights out of a close small airport at great times. We will be getting into MCO at 9:40am and will be leaving MCO at 7:00pm. I feel that with these flight times we will be getting the most out of our first and last days! I'm so excited! It definitely feels more real now.

YAY!!!! There were a couple times that I SHOULD have went ahead and booked our airfare, but I keep holding off just in CASE something happens and we can't go or need to change dates. The airfare is the only part of the trip that's non-refundable. The flights were really cheap a couple weeks ago.....should've booked them then, but I procrastinated until the prices went back up. Sheesh.....

I totally agree! Originally we were supposed to do this whole trip as a family, so we were booked for October during my son's high school fall break (our high school goes year-around). When my 2 older kids decided they didn't want to go (crazy talk!!! ) we switched our dates to Sept.

Our high school allows the students to skip finals if they don't miss more than 2 days per semester, and aren't failing any classes. My son has insisted on being there every day because he does NOT ever want to take finals. I think it's great that he's so motivated to be there every day!

Hmm, well.....don't give up your current ADR until you can make another one.....and if you can't make another one I guess the parents will be eating on their own that morning, huh?! Hehee

Ok off topic...I just wanna say I was preparing and excited for my trip to Chicago, this morning 3:30am my DD(10) wakes and has a fever 101. Now not bad but she normally runs 97. something. So anyhow throat has bothered her for a couple days as well and ears. So I will get her into the peds before we go for possible strep test.
Just to recap--last yr at dance competition, she had strep...fever of 101 and performed. Now a dancer does what she has to do for the teams sake but come on 2 yrs in a row!!!! I am praying if it is strep, they will get her moving on the anitbiotic and fever breaks by tomorrow. Ok begging that it does. Cause man I am ready for Chicago shopping, deep dish pizza, Chicago dog, and etc.

Ok sorry had to vent.

I managed to score an 8:10 ADR for CP on a non- EMH day during our stay. It's not 8:05, but it'll do!So, here's my question... do you follow the same procedure to go in early, and do you go in at the same time as the 8:05 ADRs? It seems strange that they would hold you at the turnstile for five minutes, but I guess it's plausible. Does anyone know for sure?

Thats exactly what I told my mom! Im an obsessive planner and when it comes to Disney, she knows I mean business! Im not too worried because last August it seemed like a bunch of September ressies opened up at places like Chef Mickeys, Ohana and Le Cellier so Im hoping for a repeat! Otherwise she WILL be eating elsewhere with my dad and sister

Typically, as long as your check-in date is covered by free dining then you get free dining for your whole stay. It appears you are checking in on the last covered day, right? I would give Disney a call!

It will still work for you! You get it as long as you check in by the last day it is ofred. I hope so beacuse we are staying until the 26th and the past it has always worked this way.
