I thought I was the only one who had these nightmares! Haha! you get to the restaurant and they are swamped with a 2 hour wait, line out of the building, and no records of your reservation! That's my nightmare night after night for the last 2 weeks!
It's getting sooooooo close I feel like I'm going crazy! I keep checking the Disboards like it's going to make the vacation get here sooner, when all its doing is making me more antsy!!! September 12th can NOT get here fast enough!! I feel like a maniac, my husband will be talking to me about something and I'll respond with something about our Disney vacation even though what he said had nothing to do with Disney at all. I'm going to the thrift store today to get some more shorts & tank tops and I'm packing tonight! AGGGGGGGGG!!! Someone make time go faster!!!Thanks for listening/reading everyone, b/c I know you all understand my craziness!

I got 2 pieces of Mickey Mail yesterday. One was the envelope with my bill and PAID IN FULL on it

And the other was our vouchers and luggage tags. Yippee! It's getting closer!!!!

I was mentioning my nightmares on another thread and am so glad other people have these too. I have all these horrible dreams before any vacation but I think it is my way of thinking of the worst things that could happen so that when they don't (but smaller things might go 'wrong'), it doesn't seem so bad

Hello everyone!!!

We are headed our to my DDs Wish Trip in..
27 DAYS!!!!

I am so glad that I found the disboards!! This trip will be even more special because of all the things i've learned here!!!

I read somewhere about the paint scraps people put on their bags to identify them as disboarders. Headed out to Home Depot and thought I'd pick some up. WHat was the color they use?

Some people also put them on their doors or windows if they are staying at a Disney resort. You'll see them on strollers, backpacks, and a few Diser's have made t-shirts and hats with the Lime Mickey.

I like to grab the alien green ones in order to meet fellow disboarders but then I grab other colours to decorate the room or put little notes on for the kids (especially for surprises or notes from Mickey), use as hints on treasure hunts throughout the parks, and for scrapbooking later on.

My family is taking a weekend getaway to Disney Sept 17-19th. We are Floridians and live about 3 hours away. I STILL get excited every time we go. We were just there in March. My teenage boys however aren't too thrilled about going back. I don't understand how they can be tired of Disney!!

Is anyone else like completely freaking out???? I'm so excited I feel like when I finally am done packing everything in the car, I'm going to do a couple of laps around the block just so I get all the extra excitement out before the car ride or I will go like 200 mph on the turnpike! I'm sooooooo excited! This is me & DH's first ever week long vacation together since we've known each other! We've never gone anywhere for more than 3 days! AHHH! I'm so happy for all of us on this thread! We are so lucky!

Had nightmare this morning that dh and dd luggage was in the car. When we got to the airport I realized I never packed. They stayed there and I missed my flight. Needless to say, I pulled all 3 of our suitcases. Not going to let that happen (LOL)

I have several nightmares weeks before our trips.... last time I dreamt we left our Mickey Mail at home and they refused us!!!! This year, I dreamt we came home after one day to drive back down with a bunch of strange kids and dogs in our car.... weird!!

My plan is to start making my packing list today. It gets complicated with 1 in diapers, 1 with Type 1 diabetes, and 2 with food allergies. So much for packing light!

I'm waiting for our weather to turn cooler. Then I can start packing the shorts since we won't be wearing them anymore.

We will be there soon! I have nightmares too - of the blisters, the heat and humidity, the lines...But once I'm there I forget all about those things!
