Scheduled for September 25th through October 1st. Absolutely cannot wait! Cast will be DH (37), me (34), dds (9 and 6) and ds (2). This is our first trip, so as much as I have planned any little of tidbits of information you think I need would be appreciated! We are staying at the AKL. It took me 9 years to talk DH into this trip, so I want to make the most of it! It may be another 9 years before we go back. He cares ABSOLUTELY nothing about going, but I told him I would go with or without him, but me and the three kids were headed to FL!

My DD and I will be there the same dates, staying at the Poly. See you there, I'll be the woman too excited to contain herself while my daughter rolls her eyes at me, LOL.

Crostefer I laughed so hard at your post saying "eating ramens until we leave" Thats what were doing. I think I told hubby to dont pay the gardner or anything until I complete my pin collection at Disney lol I am soo excited!!

We(myself, Husband And Daughter) are going Sept 6 thru the 10th. Staying at BWV.

The first time we went as a family was 2008. We are super excited. Back then we stayed at ASM. This time we didn't want to have to deal with being bused. It was a pain in the butt. Our Daughter was 2 at the time and lugging a stroller on and off the buses when there wasn't any room there was just awful.

25 days to go

I have no idea how I'm going to make it through. I have soooo much work to get done between now and then and absolutely no desire to do anything, but leave for Florida. Must.Find. Motivation.

Also, I got the "I don't understand how you can keep going back there all the time" talk from dear brother. This drives me insane for many reasons, but one is that he goes to Nags Head every flipping year. Also he likes to bring up how ridiculous it is that people think that World Showcase is a substitute for the real thing (this from one of the most xenophobic people I have ever met who only leaves the country because his new wife insists). Arrrgh!!! I am banning him from the house until we're back from our trip.

I agree with you about the buses! We avoid them at all costs and take them only when absolutely necessary.

Our trip is a surprise trip...so we aren't telling our daughter until we are on our way...

We didn't think we could handle the "when are we going I'm so excited..." talk from her...but...it is all I think about or talk about so I am tempted to tell her so she can be excited with me! Ha!

I just want to share that I paid off my reservation couple days ago. Also booked my ticket couple too. I got my ME envelope yesterday. I'm hoping to get the travel booklet soon.

I have 38 DAYS to go./

Hi all im new to the thread and not really sure how to use it yet lol.
any ways im so excited for my trip in september and was wondering if any body else will be at the AKL from the 23rd of september till the 14 october would be great to get to know some of you incase we bump into each other
It will be my Hubbys amd mine 2nd wedding anniversary on the 29th of september ( we got married in the wedding pavillion ) and it will be my sons 8th bday on the 8th of october we will also have with us our 5yr old twin boys and nanny will be coming too ( cant leave her behind ) as she is the one who brought me to Disney and got me hooked as a child

The kids are driving me nutty with getting their MNSSHP costumes ready we have never done it before as we thought them too young and didnt want to tire them I will be tinkerbell hubby will be Peter pan and they will be lost boys nanny will be smee as the boys wanted her to dress as a pirate
can any body explain to me how i get one of those count down bars they are soooo cool
