September 2010

This is our first Disney trip during MNSSHP! My daughter and nephew are so excited. We normally keep our trips to Disney a secret until the day of, but we told them already..........they are driving us bonkers.:scared1::scared1:

Is it September yet? I hate for the summer to fly by us......but......we are ready to go.

We will be there from September 11-September 18. We have ressies on the 11th at Le Cellier at 12. So we will be there earlier than normal (for us).

I know....I would normally never wish the summer to pass by fast.popcorn::

VeganCupcake- 9/12-9/18 :-)
super excited
have pre-trip "report" going
and I am driving hubby nuts about the trip...... but I DON'T CARE! :-)

I am so driving my husband batty with my incessant talk and planning of Disney World, too! I, too, do not care if I'm driving him insane!

We'll be there the same time you are, only you're getting there a day ahead of us!

I get mocked constantly by hubby! Hope you have a super fun time!!! It seems like the perfect time to go, I haven't been denied any reservations I've wanted for dining, except I haven't been able to get an earlier Ohana time than 8:30pm, but it's Ok, b/c then we get to see fireworks!

I too am driving the hubby crazy. He's been real sweet nodding his head, smiling when he thinks he should, and an occasional 'cool' or 'good job'. But I know what he's really thinking, "I just want to watch Deadliest Catch!" :lmao:

LMAO. He sounds just like my husband. He can't stop saying he can't believe he is going to Disney in Sept. and missing the Tuna season at home. I have to watch the Deadliest Catch all winter so this is his payback.

My family and I will be staying at POR the 18th-25th and can't wait! We are really excited about MNSSHP on the 21st as well :)

Disneyaholicism crosses gender lines (and many other)

Seriously though, the new episode of Deadliest Catch was really good last night.... Hubby had to watch it twice because I chatted most of the show away during prime time :lmao: I watched it with him during the later time and it was good...and I was quiet...pretty much...

I decided with all of these awesome promotions going on through Disney that I was going to plan a trip for 9/18-9/21. I am taking my two kids and we are staying at AKL. I just saw online that Mickey's Not-so-Scary-Halloween Party is going on 9/18. I am thinking of suprising the kids and getting tickets to go.

Hi everyone! My family will be @ WDW Sept 18-26th. We're staying at POR and going to MNSSHP, both of which we've never done before! I am so excited and can't wait for our trip! :yay:

My DH, DD and I will be coming "home" to the magic in September from the 14 - 21.
Never been there this late in the summer, what are the weather, lines, crowds etc like then?

We are headed to AKL the 22 - 26 for a quick second honeymoon! Can't wait!! It will be a nice getaway for the two of us.

It's seriously going to be hot hot hot, but soooooo NOT crowded. We're going the 12th-18th, and last time when we went around mid September it was sooo nice, no long lines(I walked right on splash mountain in the middle of the day). on top of it, there are still a lot of good reservations left for dining, which I think says a lot! Have fun!

So I've noticed the parks close much earlier and not just for MNSSHP at MK. Does DisneyQuest get really busy in the later hours because of this?

Thanks for filling me in - We usually go in late July or August so we know all about the heat but I actually love that. I have heard that it rains a lot then. I can handle an occasional shower daily but not an all day rain, I really like the sun. A daily shower is kind of a treat after being in the heat actually.
Good news about the crowds. I thought that maybe with the free dining, it would be busier. We did get good meal reservations, so that was nice.
