Gee, Wic, ja think that ever occurred to me? I swear these examples are real.
One time I tried to MAKE him vacumn and he accidentally dropped the vacumn down the stairs and broke it.
Another time I needed the front porch light fixture cleaned. It had bugs on it so he knocked it on the concrete floor to get them off. Surprise, it broke.
He has forgotten to pick me up at the hospital when I was in after nearly dying.
He has refused to bring me a drink of water when I was bedridden on the grounds that he is a man and does not do 'housework'.
I could tell more stories but it would go from the sublime to the ridiculous.
Since he will offer to bring me a drink etc. if we have company I think that the next DIS meet we have we should ALL ask him very sweetly to get us a drink, one at a time, all night long. Then he might see what my days are like.![]()
Honestly he is truly incapable of doing some things but many others he could do, as I have seen, if he wanted to. It is perplexing exactly where the line is and since he is not able to change I am contemplating writing a book about my marriage and making millions of dollars making people laugh at what they think are my 'jokes'.![]()
I could then hire someone to take care of him and we would be both be in a perfect marriage.![]()
Slightly Goofy (who needs frequent computer breaks)

Oh my god SG, has he always been like this? My first husband sounds like he must have been a long distant relative of your husband! Notice I said first husband!

I'd go on the December vacation without him!
