Im not sure ... there are things we want to see, like the Titanic Museum, Theodore Tugboat, Reversing Falls ... Not sure what we really will do though. My youngest will be 3.5 when we cruise so I don't want to do anything that takes too much time since his interest will diminish.

I agree!! It's about time they were put up online. I like the hop on hop off one in Halifax. Sounds like it will give you plenty of time to look around and get back to the ship for some lunch then go again in the afternoon...

I would love to do the photo tour as well but my dw would kill me if booked that....lol

Also I'm worried about the weather. If it's raining then what. The last thing I really want to do is spend the day taking pics if it's raining.


I'm looking at the hop on hop off tour in both ports. That way if you like you can always go back on the ship for lunch.

Not committed to anything yet but I'll keep looking.

One good thing is I'll be in my own country so I don't have to worry about money exchange or roaming charges on my cell phone...lol

I was looking at the hop on hop off too!! Too many choices!

I read review of the photography tour everyone enjoyed it. One said it was drizzling and it was still fun!

It's not a perfect analogue, but the 5 night Bahamas cruise has a semi-formal and pirate night, but no formal night. My Passporter suggests that on five night cruises, it is more of a "dress up" night than a semi-formal.

DH and I have spent yesterday evening looking at DCL excursions and making up our minds, and I think we're decided now and we're going to try and book "Coastal Peggy's Cove" for Halifax, and "St. Martins & Bay of Fundy" for Saint John.

Anyone else here going on one of these?

Well, right now we have the Adults Only departure saved in Halifax for Peggy's Cove and the Titanic Cemetery and the Moosehead Beer Tour in St. Johns. But I'm sure it's going to be a game day decision for us.

This will be our 3rd DCL trip and 7th cruise. We can't wait to get up to NY and start this trip.

We just moved from the Aug 12th Magic to this cruise Sept 2, 2012.
The NYC IronMan competition ends on Aug 12th and the ceremonies are at the pier. I was freaking out that we would miss our cruise if we got caught up in traffic and road closures. Actually the rates on this cruise are cheaper than Aug 12, so I moved from a 10A to a 5C on deck 6, dropped the transfers and it will only cost us $106 additional and now it moved our PIF date to June 19th.
