September 18-25 Round-Up-(Post that you made it home ok)

I was just going to ask mjalvarez the same thing. I've never gone in September and I am so curious about what it will be like. The 2 times I have gone have been during Christmas week so I'm sure it will be refreshing for me no matter how busy it is

We are from Paris, TN and our dates are exactly the same. We are flying out of Nashville on the 9:20 am flight on Saturday morning the 18th. We are flying back on the 25th, the 8:25 pm flight. Southwest of course!! We are staying at the Pop Century.
It willbe DH and I, DD 10, DD 7 and DS 3 (almost). He'll have his birthday on the 22nd while we are there!

Maybe we'll meet up sometime!

We will be at the POP from September 19-26 (First visit to POP)

We will be celebrating two birthdays. (DM 57, and DD 3)
Any suggestions on special ideas would be appreciated!
We have dinner planned at the Floridian, (Park Faire for princess meet for DD) for the 25th.
Also, luau, and HDDR, as well as lunch in the Castle of course!

We usually go in January.... trying to fit an extra trip in before the third birthday! You all know why!!!
I hope that this time of year as has as good weather and nice small crowds!

This will be our thirty something'th trip to the World, but you can never experience it all! Hope to spot some lime green!
We will have to purchase a DIS lime green item to display!

Now that we are all coming down to the 30 day mark (YEAHOOOOO) I think we need to keep this thread alive and kickin. Since we know we will all be there at the same time, let's describe our families that we will be with so we can keep an eye out for each other.


For us it will just be myself and my boyfriend. I am about 5'9" blonde hair that's a little below my shoulders. He is about 6'4" and will most likely be wearing a hat with some Maryland sports team on it I will also have my lime green SRUAlmn mickey on my hot pink backpack

We're at Pop Century just for the 17th, arriving from TF Greene, and then going to WL (Yippee ) for the 18th to 20th for DH's extravagant birthday trip.

We're going to HDD Saturday night, and HOB Gospel Brunch on Sunday -- don't know where else plans might take us. But we will be keeping ears open for sounds of a soft opening on Stitch.

My Passporter lanyard has a green DIS pin and a GOH badge with "Debbie." (Not too original since that's my name!)

Seems as though time is going so slow. I'm going to practice packing this week to see how much space I need. I plan on taking 2 medium size bags. I'm going to leave 1 half empty so I have room for the things I buy while I'm there. Anyone else ever do this??

Actually I pack an extra "carry-on" bag so that I can fill it up!

Just wanted to mention, in case you weren't aware, that's the only time that whole week that there will be a Spectro show. It's the 21st at 8:00. That is where we will be at that time, so no luau for us Just wanted to make sure you knew. Have fun!

Uh....spur of the moment trip going on the 19th and coming home on my birthday, the 24th.
What a rotten thing to do to myself on my birthday, eh?!?

We're going with absolutely NO plans whatsoever and I'm looking forward to just going with the flow.

We are so excited!! We have a paper chain that counts down the days and we check the calendar every day!! We are at ASMo

we will be:
Sept 18- Dinner at Grand Floridian 1900 Park Faire
19- Epcot and the Princess breakfast and maybe MK in late afternoon
20 -Universal
21-free day and tea for the girls at Grand floridian, I am also doing the Titanic tour by myself(i need the alone time!)
22- Universal
23-Epcot
24-MK
25-AK/MGM for Fantasmic and Sci-Fi
26-Shopping and leaving

I am also practice packing, it makes my husband crazy to have piles all over so I have to pack and then put it all away again, since most of the stuff we are still using. I do have the toiletry (sp?) bag packed since it is all new. I also have the stuff for the car divided up for each of the kids and that is hidden so it will be a suprise. Other than that, I am just waiting for my timer to count down so we can get on the road!

DH, BIL and I will be there Sept 17 - 25. I can't wait, first night in WL, then we move to VWL. We are all 3 tall and Pooh sized people. DH is 6'3", BIL is 6' and I'm 5'9".

DH and I will be there! We'll be spending our 1st 3 nights at ASMu (revisiting our old honeymoon resort) and our last 4 nights at the Contemporary Tower.

My birthday is on the 21st, so we'll be going to V&A for dinner. We're coming straight off a DCL Western cruise, so I hope my dress still fits by the time we get around to my birthday dinner!

YIPPIE!!!!!!!!!!

We finally decided that we are going to tough it out and drive straight through from Baltimore to Orlando. We just booked a room only ressie at Pop for $61 for the night before our package kicks in!!!! Can't beat that! So even if we're really tired when we get there, who cares. We'll already be in WDW, and then we can get up the next day and enjoy the entire day instead of getting there after some lengthy travel and just wanting to sleep. Can't wait!!!
