From the budget board-here you go!

use key code AF0614702 for free shipping thru 8/18.

Thanks for the code... I tried it but couldn't get it to work... was there a minimum order... say of $60.00? Thanks!

Okay, I'm trying to get the numbers to work out, so DH and I can take this cruise. When we took the repo cruise we had a cat 4 for us and DD, since there were so many sea days I figured it would be good to have a little (key word) more space. With this 11-day cruise there are so many port days, it is unlikely we will be in the room much at all, so I've got a hold on a cat 8 - Rm 6014. I know DH is going to remind me how much we spent on board...so I figure it will significantly less since we won't have the hoard of pictures and I really don't need three spa treatments (there won't be time!). Plus, I won't need all the pins and other souveniers. So that should save us quite a bit... :confused3 :confused3

Of course, there will be all the shore excursions...that could add up.

What is the difference in a cat 8 and cat 9...just the deck it is located on?

Thanks for any help!

Thanks Peter....I will need to work some serious OT for this. I may even pop in at my old job and pick up time to pay for this...YIKES!! :earseek:

By the way Peter, I am now the proud owner of 4 shares of Disney stock. If only it would appreciate the way the DCL prices have...up 384 in less than 7 days!

See the big problem here is I have to pay about 99% of what I collect to the Medical Center in rent, as we do not own that facility, so it really goes back to pay the employees at the Medical Center. Kind of a Circle of Life thing.

Ok I am going to be working on a pre-cruise video. This will hopefully help the next 400+ days move quickly.

This is my first time posting a video on the Internet. I hope it works. Next update will require a plug-in to watch the video.

Click the link below for a quick 30 sec teaser.

Such a cool video, I think we need one for every special cruise now.

That is a great rationalization. I always tell myself I won't spend as much also......makes me feel so much better. And look at the money I saved by booking early!

Why does that mean the May double dip is out? I work so we can cruise. I'll just hav e to pick a little more overtime hours. After all, the double dip is a first for the Magic.
DC was great. Got to see many of my old Navy buddies and Carolyn got together with a high school friend she had not seen in 25 years. The educational sessions were very good and the parties were excellent. Alex :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Now I got if from a pretty reliable source (???!!!!???) that you were trying to figure out how you were going to get all that time off for vacation. So are you really thinking you are going to do a week in May and another 21 days in September?

We will find out real soon- I submitted my vacation request today. If that doesn't work, I'll just have to quit. I do have my priorities! Alex :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Tom

I'm not complaining- I only pay 50.00 per month to park- and that is in Chicago! There are many sacrifices I took, when taking this job- increased expense to commute, decreased wages- but great benefits and priceless experience. The job was to increase my experience- and that I am getting. Changing jobs was the right thing to do....

On another note- would you change from a verandah to an inside room if it would save you 2400.00? Robb and I are debating this...we have never had a room without a window- but 2400.00 :earseek: is almost a whole cruise!! What do you think campers?

Choices, choices??? HELP and SUGGESTIONS wanted!

Only 50?! I pay $110 in Madison.

Tracy

HI Dena,
It's good to see someone I know that will be on this cruise. We originally were booked for Haloween 2006 but changed to this cruise when we saw it was for 11 days. How is Emily?(BOO) I can't wait to see ole friends and make new ones.

Robin (moocow)- I e-mailed you to add us to the list. Do you need stateroom #'s too?

icunurse_celeste - I would change and save the extra $$$. We have had rooms with a balcony and inside rooms. For the difference in money I would go with an inside room. We LOVE our cat 11 on the Disney!!
