Peter Dude, no trips till Sept. Bummer…..It is the trips that keep me going. I work for vacations. Actually started planning the Tanzania trip, looking at dates, checking air fare etc. Have to wait till DVC gets the contracts in place.

Billy Joel should be a good time.

Yes one week closer, what do we have about 29 weeks and change.

But do have 3 DCl cruises planned, Starting September in a 10 month period after that.. 7 months wow will do something in betwen.
Maybe that Dis meet Celeste is planning.... Midwest....

Need to get onboard the ship so I can get discounts !!! and onboard credits..
stinks booking 2 cruises and not getting them.. dont want to wait til September to book the next one on board..would only be 4 months before next trip..

So I will book it soon and see what they can do for us in September.. :wizard:

Prices should not go up much Between now and then.. I hope

I missed Celeste's Midwest DIS meet, summer of 2007 I/we will have time to travel. Just need a place to park the truck with the camper on board.

Hi Peter....Jenn? (The spelling was OK, so I'm figuring it's Jenn!)

How does that work with booking a cruise before you get on the ship and then switching over? We are specifically thinking of the 2007 Med cruise which we would very much like to do (unless it's obscenely expensive). I'd like to book early when the rates come out but then I won't get the booking onboard discount and credit. Which way would be more advantageous? You guys are such experts, I'm hoping you'll be able to give me good advice.

BTW, what are your other planned cruises? Tanzania with DVC?.....haven't heard a thing about that one. Keep me posted and maybe we can even join you on one of them. Nancy and Norm are thinking of doing a non Disney cruise also.

And thanks for helping to get Eric back!

Tanzania with DVC is part of the Adventure collection,i.e. Thomson Safari. Did it a few years back and are excited about returning.

O.K. Cowboys and Cowgirls....
Where is Kaycee, Wyoming and why in the world would I want to know? :confused3

Yea, I did a duplicate post again. What can I say.

Amazing how you are busy that weekend Vicki! I think Steve's just feeling lazy again... ;)
And your point is ..... ? :rotfl2: :lmao:

Don't worry, we know that you'll both be busy if/when we ever move. :thumbsup2

Besides, I used friends to move when I only had half a rental truck's worth of stuff to move. You've seen our place now. Do you *REALLY* think we could move it in a full week (let alone a single day) by ourselves? :rotfl:

Bob, Kaycee is about dead center of the state of Wyoming. North of Casper on I-25 and South of Buffalo. Why would Bob be interested? Let’s see- Hole in the Wall Outlaw country, The Johnson County War, I think there is a sheep dog competition held there, family?, Am I close with any pf them.

No Scott, you haven't missed the summer midwest meet- just the Christmas one.

I am still considering doing a meet in May. I had actually thought about doing one the weekend of Memorial day and thought about inviting May repo cruisers as well- kind of a one year thing- celebration and combine it with people for the upcoming cruise in September. I already have time off that weekend as I am scheduled to go to California for a nursing convention earlier that week- and have scheduled vacation time for that week. However, I don't know how many people would be interested in coming around that time frame- I know many people do family parties. I could plan some fun things in Chicago and we could have a party at the house. If I wasn't going to do it that weekend, I'm not sure when I could~ between working two jobs, school, and training for upcoming races, my time is limited. :guilty:

Peter there was been some RT airfare on SWA for 75.00 from mancheter/providence to Chicago through Ding. Just an FYI

How wide is the fish extender? I found something similar on eBay, but I'm afraid it's too wide.

Our Fish Extender is a little shy of 8 inches wide.

Tracy...great job on the Newsletter once again...I especially liked your comparison of RCL to DCL...I doubt I could cruise another line because I think I'd always be comparing everything to DCL.

Would this be a bad time to say that it looks like Mom and I will also be cancelling our cruise reservation??????

I'm less than pleased about this....I don't approve. You will have one sad little boy on your hands, hope you can live with that. (is the guilt working?)....

Celeste. You weren't talking about me, were you?

O.k. just kidding. Everyone who met on the 14 day and who are sailing on the 11 day will miss Margaret and Elaine. Hey Christmas at WDW will be very nice.

Tracy thanks for the news letter, very interesting on the DCL v. RCL. I am sticking with DCL.

Yes Elaine, Christmas at WDW is one of our favorite times of the year to visit.

:sunny: GOOD MORNING EVERYONE :sunny:
:surfweb: Cool and crisp morning here. 22° and snowy. No walking this morning. :cold: I need to update my miles.

Tippy :dog: and I are making chilli this morning. Should be ready by this evening. Lee should be home this afternoon after being with her parents this week. She will watch the commercials tonight and I will watch the game.

Tracy, another A+ on the newsletter. Did you come up with the name Pirate Pete or was that someone else? :rolleyes2

Celeste, the DisMeet in Chicago sounds good. We usually make it to Chicago a couple of times a year, but won't be attending the Bark In the Park. So a meet could be one of our trips. Although, Memorial Day might be iffy for us.

Scott, the Kaycee answer is on the 14 day thread. Basically, it has to do with Chris Ledoux. "Life's a highway, there's only one way You're gonna get through it"

Everyone have a great day.

GO STEELERS! :cheer2:

Glad to hear someone else is getting snow, looks like we got about three inches last night. Temp is 23. I gotta go where it is warm.....
