HI Everyone,
Take me off the list of cruiser's. We had to cancle the 11 day, and book a 7 day. We have to much vacation planned for 2006 so we had to cut some day's off somewhere. Hope everyone has a blast!!

I'm sorry to read that Teri. I'm here to post that I just had to change our 11 day ressies to a 7 day today . It was the only way to keep all of the other family members from backing out of cruising DCL totally. They would have pushed for a 3 night cruise but there aren't any of those for the dates they are available .

I hope you all have a great time. I'm jealous. I'm off to educate myself about the western ports.................................

I'm sorry to read that Teri. I'm here to post that I just had to change our 11 day ressies to a 7 day today . It was the only way to keep all of the other family members from backing out of cruising DCL totally. They would have pushed for a 3 night cruise but there aren't any of those for the dates they are available .

Which 7 day did you book for? Just curious because I'm going on a western too this year. Sorry you won't be going along with us.

I'm just now starting to think about our "first night" plans and I thought I would ask what others are planning. We have stayed at the Hyatt and the local Embassy Suites in the past. Both worked well for us.

We've also used Disney Transportation, towncars and rentals in the past. The rental solution worked well last year for the May repo.

What are your plans?

Rumor has it we will be at a DVC resort You'll have to check with the boss though.

Very Early in the morning.. this car comes screamin into the lot of the Rental place. it Was Scott..
He must have made poor lynne Get up at the Crack of Dawn..

It was a very tough decision for us to make ....we will miss seeing all you guys again (and meeting some for the first time) but I know we'll be cruising together in 2007!!!!!

It was a very tough decision for us to make ....we will miss seeing all you guys again (and meeting some for the first time) but I know we'll be cruising together in 2007!!!!!

Mom and I had a serious talk on the weekend about the cruise and we both have reservations about cruising during hurricane season.....so we decided that we would like to spend Christmas in WDW this year instead....so it looks like I'll be cancelling our reservation in the next couple of weeks.....

We decided to stay close to port this time. Sheraton Four Points. Going to try and eat at Grills the night before. (They have a picture of one of DCL ships going by on their website). Have heard it was very good.
