Trying to get ready to leave for Boston, but it just keeps snowing!!!

Sorry I haven't posted in forever. Since my first and only posting many things have been happening. The week of September 3rd through 10th my DH and I were at WDW at the Beach Club. The following week we visited the east coast and relatives. The 23rd I retired after 27 years with AAA Ohio Auto Club. The 11th of October my mother died. November 6th through the 25th was spent taking care of her house in Nevada. Since getting back from there we have been redecorating our living room. I have managed to lurk enough to keep up with the postings and have gotten the newsletters. Thanks so much, they are great. Hopefully things will slow down enough now so that I can post more. You all sound like a great group.

Carol, so sorry to hear of your loss. You sound like you have been very busy. Hopefully after the holidays, things will settle down a bit and you can enjoy your retirement.

Hi everyone, this is Tracy posting from Jenn and Peter's house. We are thankful to be on the ground after our flights last night. Lots of turbulance. The first one from Madison to Milwaukee was a bit rough, but just like being on a gravel road. The second one between Milwaukee and Boston was fine for a long time, until we got to Buffalo. I swear the plane was going to flip! We were really rockin' and rollin'. I didn't spill my hot drink though The dogs are as cute as ever aw: The Christmas tree is HUGE!!! It's raining now, but we're still going to venture out!

Thanks for the conversion....I keep forgetting about the metric thing...just like celsius and fahrenheit!!!!

okay...so we didn't end up with the 11.8110236 inches of snow...only 7.874 inches!!!!!

Buffalo usually gets a lot more snow than us due to the lake effect that comes off of Lake Erie.
