The car is all packed to head up to my mom's for the day. Just need to add the dessert and ice cream and we're set. Oh wait, we also need to add Bill and I and he's still sleeping! I got my time to sleep in yesterday so I'll let him sleep.

The dessert is Pear and Cranberry Crisp and looks wonderful, however it was almost Pear, Thumb and Cranberry Crisp. Yes, I cut my thumb along with the pears. It was a pretty bad cut, but we managed to bandage it up so I could keep on working. I may not have a clean house for company tomorrow, that was the next thing on my list

I hope everyone has a spectacular holiday weekend!!!

Tracy

Oh, and once the holiday weekend is over, think about sending me some information for the Getting to Know You section of the newsletter. I've got a couple for this next issue, but could definitely use a lot more!!! I've got some people telling me they are doing articles. Please have information and articles to me by January 4 so I can get them in the next newsletter. Thanks!

Tracy

Kay- how is the soft opening being advertised? Yes, let us know.

Georgie- A fellow January birthday person here! I am a Capricorn. I believe the DVC event is January 26-29th. I can't remember if we heard about via mail or internet?

If you bring your DVC card- they will give you a fast pass and each DVC member can bring three people.

However- Robb and I just went and looked at hot tubs- just about the price of our upcoming cruise. HMMM cruise or hot tub? :confused3

Thanks for the info Celeste! The DVC event falls right into my day! Now, I'll have to see if we can go! Ha! We'll probably have to wait a while... maybe in March. Thanks for the info!

We wanted to do a hot tub too hmmm (I should probably say, I wanted to do a hot tub :rotfl: . Joe just shakes his head!

Rushing around like crazy. Tonight Joe's parents have everyone over for the Italian celebration. Then EARLY tomorrow morning it's my family's turn! We will be really tired by tomorrow afternoon... :faint: but well be HAPPY too!

Merry Christmas one and all, Up since 4:00 and Lynn wants to sleep till 7:00, making orange sweet rolls for breakfast.

Bob, those names were very familiar to me, will see if they rebroadcast it. Get to watch the Christmas Story. I think it is funny, Lynn begs to differ.

KEWL, pictures of Tippy, might post some of our kids. They are sitting here staring at their stocking awaiting Lynn to get up.

Have a great day,

Merry Christmas everyone!! Bob, I recognized 2 out of 3 names. Gotta love Bozo the Clown!! Watched it every day! We got home from my mom's last night. I got in trouble for not bringing enough Rosa Regale! But the Blue Raspberry Martinis were a hit (until I brought out the Rosa Regale). Mom's dog Buddy looked like Tippy last night, except he kept trying to take everyone's presents :paw:

Over the past couple of years we have met so many nice people through the DIS Boards. It's been great getting to know everyone. All the great holiday greets whether by e-mail, PM, post or snail mail have made this season what it's meant to be!!

Have a great day,
Christmas Story. Wonderful movie. Written by a chicago native that grew up in Hammond, Jean Sheppard. A lot of it rings true!
The rebroadcast is today. I believe at 1 MST. WGN page

O.K. Tracy, which of the three are not familiar? Everyone knows Bozo (or knows a bozo).
Then there was Garfield Goose in the afternoon. With Frazier Thomas and Romberg Rabbit.
Ray Raynor was in the morning. Jumpsuit and all the notes attached to it. He had Cheveston the duck. A real one that he would feed lettuce to.
I know all this sounds pretty hoakie now, but ......

Growing Older but not up. Or in this case, Billy Corgan singing "Forever Young."

MERRY CHRISTMAS. Time to go and enjoy the day.

It is really neat. However, the origin of the webpage is eastern europe, so I am not going to post the link. Seems safe though. Did a virus check.
PM if you are interrested, I can forward it to you. .SWF file 600k in size. Santa and the reindeer singing "White Christmas" ala The Drifters.

OK - I stand corrected - the sneak preview will be January 26 - 29 and also all Annual Passholders and cast members will be offered sneak previews on the same dates as the DVC members. It is expected to officially open on April 22

Sorry, Celeste - guess I read everything wrong. But now we know

HOPE EVERYONE IS HAVING A WONDERful and MAGICal day

Good Morning All,

I hope everyone had a great Christmas, I did. I got some pretty kewl presents. I still wonder about receiving “Second Hand Lions” from my nephews. I do like that movie.

The pups had a great Christmas and were flaked out pretty early being stuffed from treats.

I might head out to the stores to see what sales are out there this morning.
