Jenn, has left the building, To go to 3 different schools, to get the kids.


Pretty soon, we will be in possesion of 4 kids

and will head to the airport about 1 ish

Jenn's - 76 Yo Dad & Mom - No age, are also aboard for this trip!

It is the first cruise for them also!

Actually, had already seen those big boys at WalMart last year when I bought my Mug. Did not think I needed to carry around a gallon (or 3.785 liters EH!) of liquid.

Hi Bob! I bought one last year when everyone on this thread was talking about them... and I didn't even get to take the cruise!!!

Boy, do I have it bad!

About an hour ago the Wonder sailed away! About an hour ago I heard from Peter, Jenn, and the four kids (don't know where mom and dad were, guess they didn't want to talk to me? ). Oh well, the kids are having a blast!!! Jenn said they had to sign waivers because there is a film crew on the sailing.

Here the weather has been quite mild.....above freezing and rain.
The last cold and snow was when we were in Florida the first of December.

Just ducking in to say 'ello~!, for chuckles - here are some pix from Saturdays' culinary shopping discovery!

We went into town (Los Angeles) to meet friends for brunch then went exploring in an adjoining part of town we don't see too often - but used to hang around in 18-22 years ago. And noticed a large supermarket had changed hands - and they were having a grand opening celebration. They called it the "169 Market" - it was CAVERNOUS and crawling with tons of shoppers.

Among the many things we picked up - we selected a live 5.4 pound Maine lobster - which they cooked for us on the spot. This puppy is huge - about the size and volume of a sizable loaf of bread! It took us an hour to get home and it was still HOT when we got there! The price seemed somewhat cheap for a live lobster of this size - I think it was only $6.28 a pound and ran $34 plus tax. Alicia and the kids attacked it last nite but I only got one tiny little taste... (Dads get overlooked 'round my house - IMHO) and tonight again it is getting attention for dinner. Check out these pix from yesterday...

What a bargain... eh?
well, maybe some of you lucky folks on the East coast see better deals since you're living so close to the "source"!!!

We were thinking of them also..a couple minutes before 5 I said to Bob, well, Peter and Jenn are about to sail, he said lucky dogs, lol.

We know they will have a great time!

That is pretty wild, because we just got off the Wonder on Sunday! The cruise staff has a bunch of new members. Our cruise director was Darren (who we knew from the cruise staff on the maiden voyage of the Magic). Brent was coming back aboard on Sunday. The modifications made in dry dock are great, especially in the spa. Alex

Boy...do I miss Florida.....I just spent an hour de-icing my car from ALL the freezing rain we got today.....it must have been 3 inches thick on my car....

Did you try out the villas?? Michael and I did one of the spa villa treatments on the Magic as a Christmas present and loved it!! Hope all is well!
