Crusing around I found out Rosh Hashanah will be happening while we are on board the 22nd. So I was wondering if some of our friend of the Jewish faith could tell me about this holiday.

Scott all I know is that it is Jewish New Year, and eating apples and honey is a tradition for a sweet properous new year.

If you really want, you can buy me a fru-fru drink, ok? :)

How about a couple or 3 FRU-FRU drinks. Thanks so much for taking on this project at the last minute. :cheer2:

Shame on those that ordered and have not paid. :furious: :sad2: :sad2:

I got a bright orange Bubba keg this morning for my good morning present!
Kev found one for me in Rawlins WY at a truck stop. I drank my orange crystal light out of it this morning. It will also match my swim suit :rotfl2: that is if I put it on! Kevin picked orange because of my swim suit, good thinker huh?
 I affectionately call MY Bubba Keg Uncle Bubba Earl!
It needs its own zip code! This thing is huge! :rotfl:

Ok, Shame on me, but I have a valid reason! My crappy internet connection out here prevents me from ordering things because if it craps out in the middle of a transaction I could possibly be charged twice if I try to run it through again :confused3 This has happened with online bill paying and such where we have been charged twice. But as soon as I get to CA tonight I will paypal my $$$ to the deserving parties. I will gladly contribute to the fru-fru- drink fund for the people who have done so much for this cruise. Thank you so much!!!! Sorry! This is life on the road for me, a real PITA sometimes

Yep, at Rips. I have no clue how much diesel was, Kevin was driving and I was sleeping peacefully. I-80 diesel is usually pretty consistent across WY. But they had a 50 gallon maximum purchase limit for diesel! Shortage! Imagine my surprise when I open my eyes and see this big honkin' orange mug in my face. It took me a minute to focus on it and figure out what it was.

PIT,

Not picking on you, you do have a valid reason. I spend a lot of time on the road myself, :moped: (not near as much as you). Now that you mention it a FRU-FRU drink fund may be a good idea. :Pinkbounc
Have a safe run and TKB when you are able. :thumbsup2

Doug

Cathy, I think you should charge $3 on the ship for extras. Thanks for doing this.

Steve and I are certainly willing to buy more pins onboard. I only got 2 but will be willing to buy more to hand out. $3 is a more than fair price for everything that you have to go thru. I don't foresee any problem with you getting rid of any extras.

Doug,
When are you headed home? Steve left heading back to Shreveport yesterday after a week home.

I just figured that maybe my confession would cause others to repent and pay :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I know you weren't picking on me. pirate: Pick on me and walk the plank, matey! pirate: :rotfl: I'm in a silly mood today, maybe because tomorrow is my off day :cheer2: and I'm going cruise clothes shoppin'! So everyone elses weekend is winding down and I'm just getting started :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: Seriously, we really appreciate the effort put forth on this cruise, and I don't think it's to far fetched to start a Fru-Fru Drink fund! You all have worked very hard on this stuff! And you in particular saved my poor sewing machine from a weapon of mass destruction-me trying to make a fish extender :sad2: :sad2: I figured it was better left to the experts!

So, we are hammering down travel plans for this trip. I will know by the end of this week what resort we will be staying at. We are looking forward to the Wine and Cheese meet, and are wondering how long this party is going to last and if anyone has dining plans for saturday night on property. We always like to eat on property, and would love dining buddies if anyone is interested...........Just slinging that out there.... :listen: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Also I know the W&C meet is BYOB, but are we bringing to share as well? I would be up for bringing a little something special, but I would need to share because my weird husband doesn't like anything with a cork in it. Anyone coming to this meet drink champagne?

Hi everyone

It's time for another name badge update. I'm all caught up on the name badges - but if everyone could please take a look at the cruise list and make sure that you are happy with your names as they are listed, because that's how they will appear on the name badges. If you have a change to make, please PM me directly.

Also, if you know that someone has dropped off the cruise, please let Tony and I know.

Thanks
Ken

Hey all! Sorry I have been MIA. I had to go on a business trip to CO and CA for a week. Anyway, I went through all the checks and paypal payments and will be ordering the pins on Monday. My POC said they will take 7-10 days to get here. I grossly mis-judged how much paypal was taking out, and we have paid for 220 pins, but can only order them in incriments of 100, so I have to order 300. So a bit of the cost will be coming out of pocket (about $100 with shipping) No biggie. My question is, would anyone be mad if I charged $3.00 for them on the ship (for those who didn't pre-order) to get a bit of the $$ back for the pins and shipping? I don't think this is unfair, but please let me know if you do. I will be cashing all the checks on Monday as well- so sorry if I screwed your bank statement up with all the waiting. Thanks for paying so promtly, and I will let you all know when they come in! I will separate them into zip-lock bags with labels and can someone set up a time so I can pass them out?? I can bring them to the send off and the pajama breakfast and hope I get most of you. I can't wait!! :) :)

Cathy

Cathy,

I think $3.00 on the ship is quite reasonable. :thumbsup2 We will be paying a lot more than that for any Disney pins and will be happy about. If people weren't on the ball enough to pre-order and pre-pay then they pay the consequences. :confused3 You can quite frequently get tickets to things cheaper if you buy ahead so why not pins.

We are staying at the Port Orleans Sat night (our flight gets in around 3:30pm I think) ....think its one of the few that will accept a family of 5. I don;t remember what restaurants they have other than the buffet style place I think it was. Anyone know of any good eating there?

We liked the nice sit-down at port orleans. It was great for the two of us and the teenagers! I forget the name, but we just walked right up and were seated right away on memorial day weekend. The food was great and the atmosphere was cozy if you are looking for a relaxing place. hope it helps! :)

We will be bringing a sweet white wine and a sparkling rose between the two couples. Scott, correct us if we are wrong, but are we sharing wine, just each one bringing a bottle?
