Yeah - I'm flying tonight on AA... and it's 2 checked bags under 50# and 62"... plus a carry on and one personal item like a camera or computer bag. And the new liquids reatriction.

Cheers!

re: the carry on, it used to be 2 carry'ons right? I have a back pack bag that holds a laptop, would that qualify as the 2nd bag?

LetsGoSteelers - Sorry about today. Looks like our Cardinals wanted to win their first game in the new stadium. It's only preseason, but the Cards actually looked pretty good. The new stadium is only 10 minutes from our house. Looks strange out in the middle of the desert and has the appearance of a UFO. Suppose to be the best in the NFL though.

We lived in Irvine for a number of years while Leslie attended undergraduate school at UCI.

Caught the end of a story on the News last night. Krispy Kreme closed all of its Valley (greater Phoenix) stores yesterday due to financial difficulties. Don't know if it is permanent, across the country, or what. Seems strange though. There is always a long line at the drivethru when I go by.

Only three weeks from today for the first game of the college football season ( vs Stanford ). GO DUCKS!

No prob, you guys had to win your first game at home, I wanted to go to the game but we had a wedding to go to yesterday otherwise i would have. I think we play there next year during the regular season - I went with my friend and son when they last played at Sun Devil stadium. As you said, it's just pre-season but Cowher was not happy with our 3rd down defense. I've seen pictures of the stadium, it looks first rate, congrats! Now if only that turkey leinhart would sign you guys could remove all distractions.

Good morning everyone! A beautiful, but hot day here in Louisiana. According to the roster, Steve and I are the only ones from Louisiana.

Leslie,
While I happy for you being so close to my main man Mickey, I have to admit to being somewhat jealous! ;) Does traffic ever bother you? I always wonder how the "natives" feel about the Disney traffic.

Yep, and add a lengthy commute and it detracts even further. I used to have a 2+ hr commute for 42 miles (almost the same when I drove to Corona and took the MetroLink) from Rancho Cucamonga to Irvine. That was in 2003, I can just imagine how much worse has gotten since then with all the construction along the 15 fwy from the 91 to the high desert. :sad2:

Well I'm back.
Found everyone. DH, DFIL, DD, DsonIL, and the dog, all over at the Carpenter Avenue house. Fixing the sprinkler system, painting the bathroom and other some such chores did not seem like being "together" as a family. :grouphug: So I left them all to work together with a small reminder that it was Sunday. popcorn:: Told them dinner would be ready and I would BBQ scallops and cook some collards and have plenty of fruit whenever they were ready. (I don't know how they're going to get all the paint off the dog) :lmao:

traffic does not bother me.. mostly I don't do the driving....LOL DH has road rage but I use earplugs! really though.. where we are up here is .4 miles from the back door to the MK yes that's 4/10 mile. No traffic back here!! We take the back way into the Ocoee Wal-Mart when we shop so we don't hit too much traffic there either. I avoid I-4 like the plague though and stay away from the real touristy stuff... except for WDW of course!!

Hey all! Sorry I have been MIA. I had to go on a business trip to CO and CA for a week. Anyway, I went through all the checks and paypal payments and will be ordering the pins on Monday. My POC said they will take 7-10 days to get here. I grossly mis-judged how much paypal was taking out, and we have paid for 220 pins, but can only order them in incriments of 100, so I have to order 300. So a bit of the cost will be coming out of pocket (about $100 with shipping) No biggie. My question is, would anyone be mad if I charged $3.00 for them on the ship (for those who didn't pre-order) to get a bit of the $$ back for the pins and shipping? I don't think this is unfair, but please let me know if you do. I will be cashing all the checks on Monday as well- so sorry if I screwed your bank statement up with all the waiting. Thanks for paying so promtly, and I will let you all know when they come in! I will separate them into zip-lock bags with labels and can someone set up a time so I can pass them out?? I can bring them to the send off and the pajama breakfast and hope I get most of you. I can't wait!! :) :)
