OK Sue,

I speak from experience here. The first thing you have to remember is that you are a mother forever. You are old enough, and so is she. Take a BIG picture and have it blown up to at least a 18x24 black and white. Be sure she is looking directly into the camera. Hang it in your room until the day you draw your last breath. I see my 34 yr old baby tomorrow.

Thanks for the pep talk! I love the idea of a picture. I am about to convert three of my most prized photographs into black and white, mount them and hang them behind a ruby red background in my living room. An "entering" kindergarten picture would be PERFECT!

I'll start....Is there anyone else that is disappointed that DCL took the Deep Fried Camembert Fritters off the menu in Lumiere's/Tritons???? The cruise just won't be the same without them....they were sooooo yummy!!!!

Deep Fried Camembert Fritters???????? Maybe we could ask for a special order one night so I could try them. Sounds good!

One night I got really tired of all the cruise food and asked if they could just make me some plain pasta. It "wasn't on the menu", so they sent the head waiter to chat with me. After deciding I also needed some vegetables, a special vegetable pasta was served. This ended up being so good I've ordered it every trip since! The vegetables were crisp, fresh and delightful. The pasta was perfectly cooked - and not swimming in tons of sauce. I can only clog my arteries so many times before I just want something simple!

Of course that and the chocolate souffle! On the last cruise I couldn't get up to Palo's, so when the head waiter asked if I wanted anything - I said, one of those souffle's from Palo's. They brought one for each of us. YUMMMM!
