you HAD to have an appetizer, a bit gestapo-ish aren;t they?

well I was the last to order that night and everyone else had ordered an appetizer....our server just didn't want me to feel left out when everyone else was having their appetizers and starters....he wasn't pushy he was just offering me some things that weren't on the menu but had remembered I had ordered previous days.

:rotfl2: Would that dinky town be Lighthouse Point?? :rotfl2: We live in Coral Springs.

Lighthouse Point is a much larger town. :rotfl2: I'm in Lauderdale by the Sea!

We'll have to have a mini-meet down here sometime - that is if you ever leave the Mouse House!

I just looked back and the August repo thread (original) was 16,240 posts. The second one was 1544. The May repo thread is at 19021 right now. Can we match these before we go??? :confused3

:teacher: :teacher: MATH ALERT!!!!!!

Okay Tracy...I went back to our 14 night thread and the last post before we boarded the ship was at 10:22 am and it was post 13,620 on page 908...do you think we can beat it??????

posts we need to beat the 14 night thread = 13,621 - 8,973 = 4,648

# of days until we board the ship = 36

posts per day needed = 4648/36 = 129

only 129 posts per day...that's only 8.6 pages per day.....come on guys...we can do it!!!!!!

Gotta love Sawgrass! Hmmm, didn't find anything online maybe I need to shop. As for LBTS, it isn't all THAT hard to miss. About five minutes after you pass it, you realize there was a spot on the beach that didn't have any high rise buildings. Yeppa - that was LBTS! :lmao:

Well...

... seeing as my spouse is NOT here to read over MY shoulder .... and as I boast (probably regretfully as SOMEONE is sure to talk about this with her on the cruise...) we've been in our home about 10-11 years and we STILL have a few boxes in the garage that remain to be unpacked. Plus a few years ago we unpacked a box that was filled with... garbage. DOn't ask me how THAT happened! But it did. FOrtunately, it was not FOUL garbage - just papers and such (as I recollect).

Oh... and did I ever mention her yougurt that I found in the fridge? It had expired ... in 1999. Truth or fable? U tell me!

don't get me started on boxes....

unfortunately my mom is a bonafide packrat and I seem to have inherited that gene. Our garage is full of bins, many of them full of unopened Star Wars figures and such, yeah i went nuts when they re-released the movies and bought all the figures I never had when I was a kid. Now i have ships, playsets, figures everywhere...its a sickness I tell you.

:sad2:

It's an un-official, official girls night party. And since you were so nice, :wizard: you too have a light sabre pass!

So post away!

PACKRATS? You want to hear about packrats? My family is the ROYAL FAMILY of packrats. My DD has boxes from when he moved 20 years ago. They still aren't opened. He even has boxes from HIS DM who passed away 35 years ago. Yep, not opened.

That's why I live in a dinky 2-bedroom house with a carport. No place to packrat stuff away!

Captain Crash...you asked for the story behind Leslie's DCL lounger she has at her home...so here it is...

Okay...so you know that we "re-located" some deck chairs from Deck 9 to Kelli's BAV (big a@@ verandah) so that we could have enough chairs to sit while we went through the Panama Canal on the Disney Magic last May. Those chairs (in their entirety were returned to Deck 9 - thanks Kelli's Stateroom host). Fast Forward to about a month and a half ago....I noticed on Ebay that Mouse Surplus was auctioning off some of the DCL deck chairs and loungers. These must have been sold to Mouse Surplus after the dry dock of the Magic in October 2005. Leslie bid on the lounger and won one. There was no theft involved and she owns the lounger fair and square and I can't wait to test it out in September. I really don't want people to think that Leslie and I are "thieves".

I was partial to the "throwing it overboard and retrieving it" story... :goodvibes

At one time in my life I thought I actually knew math. Then I had a daughter! :lmao:

congrats tracy!! 8888 & 8900, you're on it tonight :thumbsup2

Thankfully Tracy signed off and will have to see 9000 and page 600 posted by SOMEONE ELSE when she wakes up tomorrow. :rotfl2:

Then again, maybe she only wants us to think she's asleep.
